Inter Milan v Napoli betting preview  

Inter Milan are unbeaten in the last 6 games

Juventus wrapped up the Serie A title on Sunday night, so Inter Milan is only playing to defend their 2nd place from Atalanta and Lazio. The Nerazzurri beat Genoa away from home last Saturday and leapfrogged Atalanta. Prior to that, they only managed to draw against Roma (2-2 in Roma) and Fiorentina (0-0 at home), wasting their chance to threat Juve for the Scudetto. Antonio Conte's men are the best team of the league on the travels, while they are fourth at home with a record of W10 D6 L2. The Nerazzurri have kept a clean sheet in three of their last four outings.

Inter are again expected to be without the services of Matias Vecino and Stefano Sensi through injury. Plus, Roiberto Gagliardini is banned, but at least Nicolo Barella is available to play after serving a one-game ban. Up front, Alexis Sanchez should get the nod over Lautaro Martinez and partner Romelu Lukaku. The likes of Borja Valero and Christian Eriksen are in contention for the number ten role. At the back, Stefan De Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni will replace Danilo D'Ambrosio and Diego Godin. The preferred wing back should be Antonio Candreva and former Manchester UTD player Ashley Young.

Napoli have already secured Europa league participation next season

Napoli are seventh in the table, a point behind sixth-placed Milan and five points behind fifth-placed Roma. They suffered a 2-1 defeat at Parma but bounced back at home with a 2-0 victory over Sassuolo last time out. Anyway, that game saw the visitors had four goals disallowed for offside, three of them following VAR reviews. It was Napoli's first clean sheet in the last 9 fixtures in the league. This will be the fourth direct encounter this season: Napoli lost at home in the league last January, but had their revenge by knocking out Inter Milan in Coppa Italia, courtesy of a 1-0 victory at S.Siro and a 1-1 draw in the second leg on their own pitch.

With Dries Mertens suspended, Arkadiusz Milik could keep his spot alongside Jose Callejon and Lorenzo Insigne in attack. Hirving Lozano and former Inter-Milan player Matteo Politano provide further options as wingers. In midfield, Diego Demme should be restored in th starting XI, with Stanislav Lobotka making room. At the back, Kostas Manolas will be sidelined for a couple of weeks at least. As a result, Nikola Maksimovic will partner Kalidou Koulibaly, with Mario Rui and Giovanni Di Lorenzo starting as full backs.
