Josh Warrington will put his IBF featherweight title on the line against Carl Frampton at Manchester Arena on Saturday. Who will claim the bragging rights? This article contains our Josh Warrington vs Carl Frampton betting preview with predictions, betting tips, enhanced odds, bookie promotions and no deposit free bets on this fight!
Warrington has an orthodox stance, stands at 5’7” and it’s possible he uses his jab and size to outpoint Frampton. He has very quick hands, is solid defensively and has great head movement that allow him to get into these combination flurries without putting himself in much danger. He has the skillset and stamina to go toe-to-toe with the former WBA featherweight champion but he will be wary of Frampton’s power punching. Furthermore, only six of Warrington’s 27 professional victories have come via stoppage so he does not have one-punch concussive power that is going to trouble ‘The Jackal’.
Frampton is a great athletic boxer with fast hands and some serious pop, as he has one-punch knockout potential. He combines slick footwork and head movement with phenomenal punching power. We expect him to mix it up, showing different styles to Warrington throughout in order to score points. Despite he has a good knockout average, Frampton only recorded one stoppage win in the last three-and-a-half years.

Josh Warrington vs Carl Frampton Betting Preview
Warrington wil try to apply his work-rate and size advantage early to unsettle Frampton
Josh Warrington enters this fight with a 27-0 record that includes six knockouts. He was relentless in his pressure on Welshman Lee Selby - considered one of Britain’s best pound-for-pound fighters at the time - when claiming the IBF crown at Elland Road back in May. The home advantage undoubtedly helped on the night as he had the support and atmosphere to help him succeed. Prior to that he defeated former world champion Kiko Martinez. A successful defense should help him realise his ultimate goal – a unification bout with one of the division dynamos, Santa Cruz, Óscar Valdez or Gary Russell Jr.Warrington has an orthodox stance, stands at 5’7” and it’s possible he uses his jab and size to outpoint Frampton. Frampton’s career to date has been nearly flawless
Carl Frampton arrives at the biggest night of his career with a professional record showing 26 wins (15 KOs) and one defeat. The spare came in a painfully close points decision loss in the rematch against old rival Leo Santa Cruz back in January 2017. He is 3-0 since, all at Featherweight - two underwhelming wins over Horacio Garcia, Nonito Donaire and a superb display against Luke Jackson at Windsor Park in August. The Northern Irishman was in control of the fight from start to finish and delivered the deciding blow in devastating fashion in the ninth round.Frampton is a great athletic boxer with fast hands and some serious pop, as he has one-punch knockout potential. He combines slick footwork and head movement with phenomenal punching power. We expect him to mix it up, showing different styles to Warrington throughout in order to score points.
