Pep Guardiola has greater strength in depth to call upon. Oleksandr Zinchenko could be in contention after missing out in Champions League, as well as centre-backs John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi. The Spanish manager may resist the temptation to start Benjamin Mendy after two bad knee injuries, so Fabian Delph could start with Oleksandr Zinchenko a doubt. Up front, Leroy Sanè and Raheem Sterling are favourites over Riyad Mahrez to flank Sergio Aguero. The likes of Bernardo Silva, Fernandinho and Kevin De BRuyne are expected to start in midfield, with David Silva and Ilkay Gundogan viable alternatives.
Moussa Sissoko is a doubt after coming off injured in midweek. The Frenchman joins Harry Kane, Eric Dier, Erik Lamela, Serge Aurier and Harry Winks on the sidelines. That means that Harry Winks's expected return to fitness comes in timely fashion. Mauricio Pochettino has scope to rest players at the back if he wishes and both Davinson Sánchez and Ben Davies could come in. Oliver Skipp would be one option alongside Wanyama in the engine room, while Wednesday's hero Fernando Llorente could lead the line.
Tottenham (4-4-2): Lloris; Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies; Wanyama, Winks, Alli, Eriksen; Llorente, Lucas

Man City vs Spurs betting preview
Manchester City have won 13 consecutive fixtures on home turf
Man City crashed out of the Champions League at the hands of Spurs on Wednesday night after the VAR canceled out an injury time winner for the hosts. Attention now turns back to the Premier League where they sit two points behind Liverpool but with a game in hand, so the title race is still in their hands. The Citizens have recorded 24 wins from their 26 games this term at the Etihad but they have gone three matches without a clean sheet and have only kept four clean sheets in their last 12 home games in the top flight. In terms of direct encounters, the Citizens have won 8 of their last 10 matches against Spurs and have scored at least 3 goals in the most recent 3 of those games.Pep Guardiola has greater strength in depth to call upon. Tottenham have lost 7 of their last 8 away fixtures in all competitions
Spurs ruined Manchester City’s dreams of a quadruple last Wednesday. They went through on away goals after a 4-3 quarter-final defeat, having won the first leg 1-0 on home turf. As to the Premier League, the Lilywhites remain in the race to secure a top four finish as they sit 3rd in the table, with Chelsea and Arsenal one point below them and Manchester United then two points further back. Although performances have picked up at their brand new stadium, on the road they have continued to struggle and have lost six of their last seven games.Moussa Sissoko is a doubt after coming off injured in midweek.
