BURNLEY v CHELSEA BETTING PREVIEW
Burnley have turned Turf Moor into a fortress this season, winning each of their last seven outings at home in all competitions. Only Chelsea (33) and Tottenham (32) have picked up more points on home soil so far than the Clarets (28). They have already taken points off Liverpool and Everton this season and should not be underestimated. Anyway, they enter this match on the back of a 2-1 defeat at Watford last weekend.Jeff Hendrick starts his three-game ban this weekend, so new signings Robbie Brady and Ashley Westwood are likely to be in contention to make their first start. George Boyd and Scott Arfield appear likely starters in midfield while Ashley Barnes and Andre Gray should both start in attack if Dyche sticks with the 4-4-2 formation. Dean Marney is a long-term absentee, while Steven Defour and Kevin Long remain out.
Chelsea have won 16 of their last 18 matches in Premier League. Last weekend’s 3-1 victory over Arsenal means that only a major collapse can now stop the Blues from becoming champions as they enter this weekend nine points clear of second-placed Tottenham Hotspur and 12 clear of the slumping Gunners. The Londoners ran out 3-0 winners when they entertained Burnley last August. Furthermore, they have won both of their previous two meetings away to Burnley.
Antonio Conte has no reason to make changes to his starting XI. Willian and Pedro are the only two players that look to be competiting for a place in the team, with the Spaniard likely to get the nod. Cesc Fabregas offers an alternative to Pedro and either N’Golo Kante or Nemanja Matic in central midfield. Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso are expected to continue in the wing-back positions while Diego Costa and Eden Hazard look sure to retain their berth in the attacking trio.
