Glenn Murray recovered from a knock to start upfront last weekend and is expected to retain his place, with Jurgen Locadia as backup option. Pascal Gross will be tucked behind the lone striker as usual. Yves Bissouma made a good impact off the bench and should play in the middle of the park alongside Dale Stephens. Alireza Jahanbakhsh could replace Anthony Knockaert on the right flank, though Jose Izquierdo has also been ruled out Martin Montoya is on standby to replace veteran defender Bruno at right back. Florin Andone will miss out through injury.
Nemanja Matic and Antonio Valencia are back in training but won't be ready to feature for the Red Devils, while the likes of Diogo Dalot, Marcos Rojo, Ander Herrera and Sergio Romero are all ruled out again. Romelu Lukaku will push for a start as central striker in place of Marcus Rashford, who could in turn move out to the right flank in place of Juan Mata. Luke Shaw merits another chance at left-back after scoring his first senior goal last weekend. He will join Matteo Darmian, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly in a likely unchanged four man backline.
Manchester UTD (4-3-3): De Gea; Darmian, Shaw, Lindelof, Bailly; Pereira, Fred, Pogba; Rashford, Sanchez, Lukaku

Brighton v Manchester UTD betting preview
Brighton looked out of sorts last weekend and need to integrate their new players into the side
Brighton slipped to a 2-0 defeat away to Watford on the opening-weekend of the new Premier League season, without offering anything in the attacking third. They lost just four home matches last season but their overall record since mid-March makes for bad reading. The Seagulls have won their last direct encounter against Manchester United, 1-0 at the Amex Stadium in May to secure their Premier League status. That was their only success in the last 10 matches.Glenn Murray recovered from a knock to start upfront last weekend and is expected to retain his place, with Jurgen Locadia as backup option. Pascal Gross will be tucked behind the lone striker as usual. Yves Bissouma made a good impact off the bench and should play in the middle of the park alongside Dale Stephens. Man UTD's display against Leicester last time out was less than impressive
Manchester UTD kicked off their campaign with a slender 2-1 victory over Leicester. In terms of the performance, little seemed to have changed for United since last term – they still did not create enough clear chances despite the addition of Fred and Andreas Pereira in central midfield. Poor warm-up results, transfer-market disappointments and speculation about the relationship between Pogba and manager Jose Mourinho make the Red Devils very vulnerable in these early stages. Man UTD welcomed the Seagulls twice to their home last season, one for FA Cup and once in league, both matches won by Mourinho’s men without conceding a goal.Nemanja Matic and Antonio Valencia are back in training but won't be ready to feature for the Red Devils, while the likes of Diogo Dalot, Marcos Rojo, Ander Herrera and Sergio Romero are all ruled out again. Romelu Lukaku will push for a start as central striker in place of Marcus Rashford, who could in turn move out to the right flank in place of Juan Mata.
