Wolves vs Manchester UTD betting preview

Wolves are unbeaten in four home Premier League games

Wolves lost 2-0 at Burnley on Saturday, albeit they were the better team. Despite that, Wanderers are in pole position to end as the best of the rest in the top flight. They are still that unpredictable team, being that they have lost twice, drawn twice and won twice in their last six matches As to direct encounters, Wolves sent the Red Devils packing the last time they visited Molineux, beating the visitors 2-1 in the 2019 FA Cup quarter-final in March. The first league meeting this season was staged at Old Trafford in September and it finished 1-1.

Nuno Espirito Santo is expected to recall both Raul Jimenez and Matt Doherty after the duo settled for places on the bench at the weekend. Ryan Bennett is available again after a two-match ban and will replace Romain Saiss at the back. The likes of Jonny, Diogo Jota, Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho could all be at risk should the Portugues manager decide to to keep them fresh for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final, so Ruben Vinagre, Morgan Gibbs-White and Helder Costa could benefit with a rare start.

Man UTD have lost just three matches out of the 20 under Solskjaer

Manchester UTD returned from the break with a relatively comfortable 2-1 win over Watford, ending a two match losing run that saw them beaten away at Arsenal in the league and against Wolves in FA Cup. The Red Devils men sit a point better off than the Gunners in fourth place (ahead of Arsenal's game in hand against Newcastle), so any dropped points now could prove costly in United's battle to secure another season of Champions League football. Away from home this season United have won 9, drawn 2 and lost 5. They are the second highest scorers away from home in the Premier League this season, behind Tottenham.

Good news for Solskjaer as Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial have been passed fit to play. The former will probably start as central striker, the latter could be rested and replaced by Jesse Lingard in the front trio. Victor Lindelof also returns to contention and could replace one of Chris Smalling or Phil Jones at the back. Diogo Dalot is an alternative to Ashley Young at right-back while Luke Shaw looks sure to retain his starting berth. The likes of Fred, Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira are all pushing for inclusion in the middle of the park. Alexis Sanchez, Eric Bailly, Matteo Darmian and Antonio Valencia remain sidelined.
