ROCHDALE vs TOTTENHAM BETTING PREVIEW
Rochdale are bottom of League One and their only wins their last 7 competitive outings was in the FA Cup 4th round replay over Millwall (1-0) and at Northampton (0-1) few days earlier. Their home meeting with Fleetwood last week was postponed due to adverse weather conditions and the state of the pitch. Last weekend's match saw them suffering a 3-2 defeat at Bristol Rovers.
Scott Wiseman, Sam Hart, Mihai Dobre and Billy Knott are all ineligible for the home side while Niall Canavan and Keith Keane are both injured. Ian Henderson and Calvin Andrew will spearhead the attack in a 3-5-2 starting system. Matt Done and Joseph Rafferty are expected to be the starting wing back, with Mark Kitching, Callum Camps and Andrew Cannon playing in the middle of the park. The likes of Donervon Daniels, Jimmy McNulty and Ryan Delaney are expected to form the defensive trio in front of the goalkeeper Josh Lillis.
Tottenham followed up a big derby win over Arsenal with a sensational fightback to draw 2-2 at Juventus in the Champions League in midweek. They are unbeaten in their last 13 competitive matches but away from home they have won just two of their last nine. The FA Cup provides arguably their best chance of earning some silverware this season. Pochettino's men enjoyed a home tie against lowly AFC Wimbledon in the third round but they got a real scare at little Newport in the last round, needing a 2-0 win at home in the replay match.
Son Heung Min was rested in Italy on Tuesday night in favour of Erik Lamela buth the South Korean is expected to be restored in the starting XI, supporting Fernando Llorente up front alongside Lamela and Lucas Moura, who will make his full debut. In goal, Michel Vorm is doubtful and Paulo Gazzaniga is expected to feature from the off. Wholesale changes are likely in defense where Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld, Juan Foyth and Kyle Walker-Peters will form the four man backline.
