LEICESTER v SEVILLA BETTING PREVIEW
Leicester have won back-to-back matches for the first time since October after sacking Claudio Ranieri and promoting Craig Shakespeare to first-team manager. The Foxes have overseen an improvement that has resulted in 3-1 home victories over Liverpool and Hull, propelling the Midlands club up the table and granting Shakespeare the job until the end of the season. In the group stage Leicester won all their home matches, seeing off Copenhagen and Porto 1-0 and Club Brugge 2-1. A 1-0 win would be enough to progress.
With no new injury issues, the likelihood is Craig Shakespeare will line up with the same XI used in the last two matches, with Shinji Okazaki getting the nod over Islam Slimani in attack. Nampalys Mendy is sidelined, meaning that Wilfried Ndidi and Danny Drinkwater will play in the middle of the park, with Riyad Mahrez and Marc Albrighton out wide. Demiral Gray and Ahmed Musa provide further options.
Sevilla have endured a frustrating fortnight, first dropping two points away to Alaves and then failing to beat Leganes at their own turf this weekend, and they are now out of the title race in La Liga. Away from the Sanchez Pizjuan, they have only managed to find the back of the net once in Champions League so far. Anyway, they kept clean sheets in all three road trips, 0-0 at Juve and Lyon and a 1-0 win at Dinamo Zagreb.
None of Vitolo, Vicente Iborra, Steven N'Zonzi, Gabriel Mercado, Sergio Escudero, Samir Nasri and Nico Pareja started for Sevilla on Saturday, so they should be well rested. Stevan Jovetic is expected to lead the line with Vitolo, Narsi and Sarabia behind him. Steven N'Zonzi and Vicente Iborra will start in midfield while the likes of Mariano, Escudero, Mercado and Rami will form the four man backline. Benoit Tremoulinas and Michael Krohn-Dehli are long-term absentees.
