Arsenal are unbeaten in the last 18 competitive matches

Arsenal have won a total of 14 matches in the last 17 games and enjoyed a 11 match winning streak in the process. Anyway, they have drawn three consecutive Premier League matches before to beat 2-1 Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium last weekend. As a consequence, they are 5th in the EPL table, three points behind their North London rivals. Arsenal are unbeaten against Pochettino's men at home in 8 matches on the row. The Gunners are one of only two teams yet to be leading a Premier League game at half time this season and would be 18th in the table if matches ended after 45 minutes.

Unai Emery could persist with the 3-4-2-1 set-up with Mesut Ozil again missing out on a start or with the German replacing Henrikh Mhkitaryan behind the lone striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. ALexandre Lacazette provides a further offensive alternative while Alex Iwobi should retain his starting berth, as well as the two wing-backs Hector Bellerin and Sead Kolasinac. The likes of Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira should start in the middle of the park while Rob Holding, Sokratis and Shkodran Mustafi should form the three man backline. Nacho Monreal, Danny Welbeck, Laurent Koscielny and Konstantinos Mavropanos remain unavailable.

Tottenham will be riding high after a run of six consecutive victories

Since their narrow defeat to Manchester City at Wembley, Tottenham have been imperious in all competitions and their confidence will have been boosted by recording back to back victories over Chelsea and Inter Milan. As a result they are third in the Premier League standings 5 points shy of Man City and sit 2nd in their Champions League group, where they should try to beat Barcelona at Cam Nou in their final group stage game. Spurs have won their last five Premier League away games but their record at the Emirates is poor in terms of victories.

Kieran Trippier, Davinson Sanchez, Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele remain out for the visitors. This means that Serge Aurier will continue at right-back  while Juan Foyth could return to centre-back in place of Jan Vertonghen. Danny Rose is available and could come in for Ben Davies at left-back. Eric Dier and the in-form Moussa Sissoko should anchor the midfield with Son Heung-Min, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli likely starter behind the lone striker Harry Kane. The likes of Lucas Moura and Harry Winks, both of whom started against Inter, are midfield alternatives.
