England U21 vs Spain U21 Betting Preview
England U21 have been victorious in all five of their games at the tournament so far without conceding a single goal. The Young Lions eased past Israel 3-0 in the semifinals to become the first U21 team to reach the European Championship final since 2009. Lee Carsley's men previously recorded a 1-0 quarter-final win over Portugal and won 2-0 all the three group stage matches against Czech Republic, Germany and Israel again.
Spain U21 came from behind to overcome Ukraine 5-1 in the semifinal in order to get to the showpiece event. Prior to that, la Rojita recorded a nervy 2-1 quarter-final triumph over a leaky Switzerland - who took them to extra time. In the group stage, they opened with a 2-2 draw against Ukraine but beat both Croatia (1-0) and Romania (2-0). This is the country’s fifth under-21 Euro final in seven attempts, and it could well be record-breaking if it ends in a Spanish win.
England and Spain have played each other three times at Under 21 level, with one win apiece and a draw. Anyway the last direct encounter came in 2009 when the Young Lions won 2-0 at the 2009 European Championships.
England go into their under-21 European clash with Spain as marginal favourites. Lee Carsley's men are 12/7 to win in 90 minutes with VBet.
Spain U21 can be backed at 6/4 (with BetVictor) with the draw currently available at 23/10 (with PariMatch).
England U21 (4-4-2): Trafford; Garner, Harwood-Bellis, Colwill, Aarons; Smith Rowe, Jones, Gomes, Palmer; Gibbs-White, Gordon.
Aston Villa star Jacob Ramsey will again be missing due to an injury while West Ham defender Ben Johnson and Norwich ace Max Aarons are both back from suspensions. Cole Palmer and Emile Smith-Rowe are expected to start out wide, with Curtis Jones and Angel Gomes anchoring the midfield. the likes of Morgan Gibbs-White and Aaron Gordon will retain their beth upfront, with Cameron Archer a viable alternative for the second half. No changes are expected the back as James Garner will continue to play as full back.
Spain U21 (4-3-3): Tenas; V. Gomez, Paredes, Pacheco, Miranda; Baena, Blanco, Sancet; Sanchez, Ruiz, S. Gomez.
Manchester City left-back Sergio Gomez is faring well in a more advanced role and will partner Abel Ruiz and Rodri Sanchez. In midfield, Chelsea target Gabri Veiga is an option off the bench with Oihan Sancet currently keeping him out the starting line-up. Alex Baena and Antonio Blanco are likely to feature from the off in the middle of the park. The four man backline will be formed by Victor Gomez, Aitor Paredes, Jon Pacheco and Juan Miranda.

Our England U21 vs Spain U21 Predictions
Lee Carsley's men looked fearsome up top and have a defence yet to concede a goal but Spain U21 will bring a 19-game unbeaten run to this clash, with their most recent loss coming to Portugal in the 2021 semi-finals.
In our opinion, this English squad is very solid and their defensive strength could propel the Young Lions to another long-awaited continental crown.
We don't expect a high scoring affair, so we back England to win 1-0 (probably with the deciding goal coming in the second half).
