Man UTD staged a remarkable comeback to overcome Crystal Palace on Monday evening as they were two goals down. The Red Devils have won back-to-back matches and 12 of their last 15 home matches in the Premier League. No side has conceded fewer goals than Mourinho's men (6) at home in the Premier League this season. United's recent home record against Liverpool is strong: they have won 10 of their last 13 Premier League meetings at Old Trafford. As to the reverse match, the two teams played out a goalless draw at Anfield back in October.
Anthony Martial remains doubtful for the lunchtime showdown. As a result, Jesse Lingard is expected to retain his starting berth in the front trio alongside Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku, with Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata the other viable starters. Plus, they are unbeaten in seven matches in all competitions and have kept five clean sheets in that period. The Reds were held to a 0-0 draw by Porto on Tuesday in the Champions League and booked their place in the quarter-finals. They have only lost three games in the league this season and have scored more goals away from home (34) than any other club.
Andrew Robertson missed the match on Tuesday night and remains a doubt for Saturday's trip to Old Trafford. Jordan Henderson suffered a dead leg in midfield but he is expected to be available. Should he miss out, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will join Emre Can in the middle of the park. ohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane all played reduced minutes on Tuesday night and will surely start in attack. Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip are in contention to partner Virgil Van Dijk at the heart of the back. Georginio Wijnaldum and Nathaniel Clyne are other fitness concerns for the visitors.
