MANCHESTER UTD v CSKA MOSCOW BETTING PREVIEW

Man UTD's goalless draw at Crystal Palace on Saturday means that the Red Devils have now won only one of their last six in all competitions and they have not managed to score in any of their last three matches. They have drawn their last three competitive matches 0-0 while a 1-1 draw away to CSKA Moscow preceded that run. United and CSKA are tied on four points in Group B, two points behind leaders Wolfsburg

Van Gaal could be without French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, but Phil Jones is expected to return after he missed last time our. Michael Carrick and Ander Herrera could form the base of the midfield, with Jesse Lingard coming into the side and Anthony Martial returning up front. Memphis Depay will remain on the sidelines with James Wilson, Antonio Valencia and Morgan Schneiderlin also doubts.

CSKA are 10 matches unbeaten (W7 D3) since their opening UCL defeat at Wolfsburg (1-0) and they have posted a club record 21 matches without a loss in the Russian Premier League. They enter this match with a 2-0 victory over FC UFA in the domestic competition. In the Champions League group, CSKA have also recorded 3-2 home win over PSV on Matchday 2 and a 1-1 draw against Man UTD on Matchday 3.

The Russian side have no fresh injury concerns from the weekend, however, and it is expected to be a similar XI to the one that started the reverse match last month. Bibras Natcho will miss out with a head injury while Vasili Berezutski is still out with the muscle injury he sustained against United. Roman Eremenko is doubtful.
