JUVENTUS vs TORINO BETTING PREVIEW
Juventus managed to see off Fiorentina at home in midweek (1-0) to ensure they made it five wins out of five, although they were far from convincing when. The Bianconeri are the only team, alongside Napoli, to have a 100% winning record in Serie A. Prior to that they beat Sassuolo (1-3 away), Chievo (3-0 at home), Genoa (2-4 away) and Cagliari (3-0 at home). Their only two losses came in the Italian Super Cup against Lazio and in their Champions League opener at Barcelona (3-0).Mattia De Sciglio is suffering from an ankle injury, whereas Sami Khedira has been ruled out with a knee problem. They join Claudio Marchisio and Marko Pjaca on the sidelines. Gianluigi Buffon will return between the posts, with Wohcieh Szczesny making room. The likes of Stephan Lichtsteiner, Giorgio Chiellini and Alex Sandro appear sure starters while Mehdi Benatia and Daniele Rugani are in contention for the remaining berth. Miralem Pjanic will replace Rodrigo Betancur in the middle of the park while the lone striker Gonzalo Higuain will bew supported by Juan Cuadrado, Paulo Dybala and Mario Manduzkic. The likes of Federico Bernardeschi and Douglas Costa, anyway, provide viable alternatives.
Torino bagged eight points in the first four games, beating Sassuolo (3-0) and Benevento (0-1) and held to draws by Bologna (1-1) and Sampdoria (2-2). The Granata managed to beat Udinese (2-3 away) on Wednesday and now sit 5th in the Serie A table, four points shy of league leaders Juventus and Napoli. The less illustrious of the two clubs from the city of Torino is coming off from an impressive 13-match unbeaten run in all competitions. As to direct matches, Torino have indeed managed to snatch a point at this ground in their last encounter, holding Bianconeri to a 1-1 draw in May.
Sinisa Mihajlovic is expected to field a 4-2-3-1 formation in which Andrea Belotti will spearhead the attack and M'Baye Niang, Iago Falque and Adem Ljaijc will play behind him. Given that Afriyie Acquah, Kevin Bonifazi, Antonio Barreca and Joel Obi all continue to miss out through respective injuries, the likes of Daniele Baselli and Tomas Rincon are likely to start in midfield. The four man backline should be formed by Cristian Molinaro, Emiliano Moretti, Nicolas Nkoulou and Cristian Ansaldi, who is favourite to get the nod over Lorenzo De Silvestri.
