JUVENTUS v AC MILAN BETTING PREVIEW
Juventus enter this match on the back of a 1-0 victory over Roma at the weekend and they are now 7 points ahead of the Giallorossi, meaning that they are the only side who managed to top both their domestic league and Champions League group this term. The Bianconeri beat AC Milan in the Coppa Italia final in May but lost the direct match in the Serie A earlier this term.
Defenders Leonardo Bonucci and Dani Alves are missing out here but Daniele Rugani and Giorgio Chiellini did well against Roma and looks sure to retain their starting berth, altough Andrea Barzagli is now 100% fit. Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala should finally be able to start here, with Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic initially benched this time. Miralem Pjanic should play behind the front duo while Claudio Marchisio, Sami Khedira and Stefano Sturaro are likely starters in the middle of the park.
AC Milan have already beaten Juve this season at the San Siro in the Serie A, a result that ended a run of nine straight wins for Juve in direct matches. The Rossoneri currently occupy the 3rd spot in the table standings, two points behind 2nd placed Roma. Anyway, their flight to Qatar was delayed due to technical problems with the plane and the club failed to find alternatives, which means the "Devils" will have less time to train and adapt to the climate of Doha.
Vincenzo Montella should field a 4-3-3 formation in which Suso and Giacomo Bonaventura are likely to start up front while Carlos Bacca and Gianluca Lapadula are in contention for the central striker role. Hence, Mbaye Niang should sit on the bench. In midfield, the likes of Manuel Locatelli, Andrea Bertolacci and Juraj Kucka are expected to feature. Full-back Davide Calabria, midfielders Riccardo Montolivo and Mati Fernandez are all out through injury.
