Mamadou Sakho and Connor Wickham will again miss out this weekend, while Luka Milivojevic served his one-match ban before the international break and will return to the starting XI here. Beyond that, Hodgson is likely to stick with the team that beat West Ham last time out, with the only change being to bring the big Serbian in in place of James McCarthy. Hence, the likes of Andros Townsend, Victor Camarasa and Max Meyer may have to be content with places on the bench, then, while Christian Benteke looks set to play second fiddle to the in-form Jordan Ayew up front.
Guardiola is expecte to rotate his men once again. Gabriel Jesus could well replace Sergio Aguero up front. The Brazil should be flanked by Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez, with Raheem Sterling providing a valuable back up option. Kevin De Bruyne should be fully recovered to start here in a three man midfield alongside Ilkay Gundogan and Rodri. In defense, Fernandinho will partner Nicolas Otamendi as centre back while Joao Cancelo, who surprisingly started at left-back against Wolves last time out, could make way for Oleksandr Zinchenko or Benjamin Mendy here. John Stones reamins doubtful.
Manchester City (4-3-3): Ederson; Walker, Otamendi, Fernandinho, Zinchenko; Gundogan, Rodri, De Bruyne; Mahrez, Jesus, B. Silva

Crystal Palace vs Manchester City betting preview
Crystal Palace are unbeaten at home in 4 matches so far
Crystal Palace are flying high in the top six after eight games, just two points shy of Man City. In the last three games at Selhurst Park, the Eagles have collected 7 points, courtesy of victories against Aston Villa and Norwich and a draw against Wolves. Palace's defense looks rock solid as only Liverpool have conceded fewer than their eight goals so far. However, Roy Hodgson's men are yet to face one of the top teams at home this season. Crystal Palace have lost eight of their last nine winless matches hosting ‘Big Six’ outfits, although they got a win over the Sky Blues last seasonMamadou Sakho and Connor Wickham will again miss out this weekend, while Luka Milivojevic served his one-match ban before the international break and will return to the starting XI here.
Man City have only won one of their last three matches against Palace
Manchester City are already trailing Liverpool in the title race by eight points as they have dropped points on three occasions already this season. The Citizens lost against Norwich and Wolves and can't afford many more slip-ups. The loss of their best defender, Aymeric Laporte, is a serious blow - they have already conceded 9 goals. Away form is good - Pep Guardiola's men have won 10 of their last 11 games on the road. As to direct encounters, Palace have been a bogey team for Man City, as they have drawn and lost to the Eagles in the last three meetings between the two sides.Guardiola is expecte to rotate his men once again. Gabriel Jesus could well replace Sergio Aguero up front. The Brazil should be flanked by Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez, with Raheem Sterling providing a valuable back up option.
