One issue Sarri must contend with is the status of star winger Eden Hazard, as the Belgian international is not 100% fit and will not be risked from the off. That likely means Willian will switch flanks to take Hazard's spot on the left, with Pedro expected to play on the other side. Álvaro Morata will be hoping to build on a lively display as central forward at Turf Moor. In midfield, Ross Barkley will get the nod over Mateo Kovacic to partner Jorginho and N'Golo Kantè. The likes of Olivier Giroud and Ethan Ampadu both remain doubts.
Roy Hodgson may be tempted to name an unchanged team as Wilfried Zaha, James McArthur and Cheikhou Kouyate have all recovered from knocks. This means that Jordan Ayew and Andros Townsend will retain their starting berth up front, as well as Cheikh Kouyatè and Luka Milivojevic in the middle of the park. Max Meyer is another option in midfield, though he and Schlupp both played 90 minutes in midweek. In defense, Joel Ward remains out so Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Patrick Van Aanholt will continue to deputise as full backs. Christian Benteke and Scott Dann remain long-term absentees
