WEST HAM v HUDDERSFIELD BETTING PREVIEW
West Ham have made a dreadful start to the season as they have lost the first three games of the campaign. The Hammers suffered a 4-0 defeat at Manchester UTD in the opening match, lost 3-2 at Southampton and 3-0 at Newcastle. They have played all three league games away from home so far as the London Stadium was hosting the World Athletics Championships, so this will be their home debut this season. Before the International break, West Ham beat Cheltenham 2-0 in the EFL Cup. Anyway, Slaven Bilic’s future is now in doubt and another defeat will only increase the pressure on the manager.Manuel Lanzini will miss the clash as he could be out for between two to three weeks. With Marko Arnautovic still suspended, Slaven Bilic may be forced into using a 4-3-3 formation with Andre Ayew joining Michail Antonio and Chicharito Hernandez up front, with the fully recovered Andy Carroll providing a further option should Bilic decide to play with a 4-4-2 system. Cheikhou Kouyate should be ready to start for the Hammers, so he could join Mark Noble and Declan Rice in midfield. Winston Reid is likely to replace James Collins in defense, with Pablo Zabaleta, Angelo Ogbonna and Aaron Cresswell set to retain their starts.
Huddersfield are unbeaten after three matches and start the weekend two points behind leaders Manchester United. Furthermore, David Wagner's side are one of just two teams yet to concede in the Premier League thus far. It is also true that they had the easiest of the draws as they got to face struggling sides like Crystal Palace (3-0 away) and Newcastle (1-0) in the opening two weeks. In their third fixture, the Terriers recorded a goalles draw at home against Southampton.
David Wagner revealed Colin Quaner is a doubt while Aaron Mooy missed out for Australia during the international break due to illness but should recover in time to feature. Rajiv van La Parra is available following a knock and could continue alongside Tom Ince and Elias Kachunga in the attacking midfield spots behind lone striker Steve Mounie, with Kasey Palmer the main alternative. Martin Cranie, Jon Gorenc Stankovic and Jonathan Hogg remain sidelined.
