SERBIA v WALES BETTING PREVIEW
Serbia have made an impressive start in their campaign to reach a first World Cup appearance since 2010, winning three and drawing two of their opening five qualifying games. The top their group, level on points with Ireland but with a better goal difference. Their 3-1 win in Georgia back in March extended their unbeaten start to World Cup qualifying. The reverse match in Cardiff ended in a draw, as a late goal scored by Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic denied Wales all three points in the reverse fixture last November.
Aleksandar Prijovic might be making a debut on Sunday as he had an amazing season playing for PAOK. Aleksandar Mitrovic is expected to spearhead the attack with Filip Kostic and Tadic providing support. Former Chelsea man Branislav Ivanovic, current Blues midfield anchor Nemanja Matic and Man City's Aleksandar Kolarov are all also expected to feature. Luka Milivojevic exploded in Crystal Palace's shirt in the second part of Premier League season and should feature from the off.
Wales, who defied the odds at Euro 2016 last summer, are already four points adrift Ireland and Serbia in the qualifying group standings. The Dragons are still yet to suffer defeat in the group so far, following up a 4-0 victory over Moldova with four consecutive draws, netting only once in last two clashes with Serbia and Republic of Ireland. This negative streak also includes a home draw against minnows Georgia too.
Gareth Bale is suspended and this is surely a huge blow for Coleman's team. Furthermore, James Collins, Hal Robson-Kanu and Andy King are out injured. Sam Vokes is likely to lead the attack, while Jazz Richards is expected to fill in for the suspended Neil Taylor at left wing-back. Chris Gunter will probably start on the opposite flank while Joe Ledley, Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey are expected to start in the middle of the park.
