- 1.30 pm: Man UTD vs Man City
Manchester UTD vs Manchester City betting preview
Manchester UTD enter this clash on the back of a 3-0 win at Tottenham in the Premier League last week, and a dramatic 2-2 draw away at Atalanta on Tuesday evening. The Red Devils have kept just one clean sheet in the last 11 outings in all competitions and haven't kept a clean sheet at home all season. Their last game at Old Trafford ended with a demoralising 5-0 loss to Liverpool. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men lie in 5th position in the domestic table, 3 points behind Man City and 8 points behind league leaders Chelsea. The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last four league meetings against city rivals.
Manchester City lost 2-0 at home to Crystal Palace last weekend, a result that ended a run of eight Premier League games without defeat for the reigning champions. In the Premier League standings, the Cityzens now trail Chelsea by 5 points. Pep Guardiola's men returned to winning ways in midweek, beating Club Brugge 4-1 in the Champions League. As to direct encounters, Manchester City have lost just one of the last six trips across the city, winning four, drawing once.

Team News & Probable Line-Ups
Manchester UTD (3-4-1-2): De Gea; Lindelof, Bailly, Maguire, Lindelof; Wan-Bissaka, McTominay, Fred, Shaw; B.Fernandes; Ronaldo, Cavani
Manchester United continue to make do without Paul Pogba - who serves the second of a three-game domestic ban this weekend - while Raphael Varane has been ruled out for a month with the hamstring injury he sustained in midweek. Another major concern is Victor Lindelof but Solskjaer stated that he "expects him to be ready", with the Swede set to join Harry Maguire and Eric Bailly in a back three should the 3-4-1-2/3-5-2 continue as expected. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw will play as wing backs while Edinson Cavani should get the nod over Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood for a place alongside Cristiano Ronaldo up front.
Manchester City (4-3-3): Ederson; Walker, Ruben Dias, Stones, Cancelo; Rodri, Bernardo Silva, De Bruyne; Foden, Grealish, G.Jesus
The visitors will be without three players - Benjamin Mendy, Aymeric Laporte and Ferran Torres. John Stones appears set to start in central defense alongside Ruben Dias, with Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo as full backs. Jack Grealish struggled against Palace but should preferred to Raheem Sterling on the left wing. Phil Foden and Gabriel Jesus wll complete the front trio, with Riyad Mahrez providing a further offensive option. Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan are in contention for a starting berth in midfield, where Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri look sure starters.

Manchester UTD v Manchester City Predictions
Man UTD are clearly struggling with only the brilliance of Cristiano Ronaldo sparing his blushes. Manchester City have misfired on occasions this season and their big flaw is their vulnerability to counter-attacks. Anyway, we expect Manchester City to dominte territory and frustrate a Varane-less backline with Cancelo, De Bruyne, Grealish and Foden. As a result, we back Manchester City to win the derby. The correct score could be 2-1 City while Ruben Dias is our long-shot in the Anytime Goalscorer market (the Red Devils are a disaster on set pieces).
