Chelsea vs Tottenham Betting Preview
After topping the Premier League table for a couple of months, Chelsea have slipped ten points behind Manchester City in the title race. The Blues have won only two of their past six, have drawn five of their last six Premier League home games. Anyway, they recorded a good 2-2 draw against Liverpool last time out after trailing the Reds by two goals. As to the Carabao Cup, Thomas Tuchel's men needed penalties to beat Southampton and Aston Villa before a 2-0 win over Brentford in the last round.
Tottenham are still unbeaten in eight matches since Antonio Conte took charge. They had to rely on a last-gasp Davinson Sanchez header to get over the line against Watford on New Year's Day, a result that lifted them in 6th place in the Premier League standings, two points below 4th placed Arsenal with two games in hand. Spurs' route to the semi final has seen them beat Wolves, Burnley and then West Ham following a 2-1 win over the Hammers in the last round.
These two teams met in the Carabao Cup in September 2020 when Tottenham knocked Chelsea out to reach the quarter finals with a 5-4 win on penalties. This season Chelsea eased to a 3-0 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September's Premier League clash. The Blues have lost just one of their last eight direct encounters against the Lilywhites.

Probable Line-Ups
Chelsea (3-4-2-1): Kepa; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Sarr; Hudson-Odoi, Jorginho, Saul Niguez, Alonso; Ziyech, Pulisic; Havertz
Kepa Arrizabalaga will return in between the sticks with Mendy unavailable. Ruben Loftus-Cheek is a major doubt, while all Reece James, Ben Chillwell, Timo Werner, and Andreas Christensen are expected to miss out. Thomas Tuchel has a major decision to make over Romelu Lukaku, after the striker was dropped against Liverpool following his explosive interview. Malang Sarr will start in the three man backline alongside Cesar Azpilicueta and Antonio Rudiger. Jorginho and saul Niguez are likely to start in the middle of the park, with Marcos Alonso and Callum Hudson-Odoi on the wings.
Tottenham (3-4-3): Lloris; Tanganga, Sanchez, Davies; Emerson Royal, Winks, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Son, Kane, Gil
For the visitors, Cristian Romero, Ryan Sessegnon and Steven Bergwijn remain out through injury. Japhet Tanganga and Harry Winks are expected to start in defense and midfield respectively while Emerson Royal and Sergio Reguilon shoul retain their berth as wing backs. Up front, the youngster Bryan Gil should get the nod over Lucas Moura for a starting place alongside Son Heung Min and Harry Kane. Dele Alli provides a further alternative should Antonio Conte decide to play with a 3-4-2-1 system.
Our Chelsea vs Tottenham Predictions
It's a London derby, and obviously anything can happen. The Blues are enduring a rough period both on and off the pitch while Antonio Conte has really helped to turn things around at Tottenham following a sticky start to the campaign under Nuno Espirito Santo. We back Spurs to maintain their unbeaten record under the Italian manager, hence we go for the Tottenham or Draw Double Chance. We do not expect a high scoring affair, so we recommend the Under 2.5 goals and the 1-1 Correct Score bets.
