MANCHESTER CITY v CHELSEA BETTING PREVIEW
Man City struggled past Burnley at Turf Moor last weekend, going behind but managing to win the match 2-1. They have only kept two clean sheets all season and aren't in their best moment despite being unbeaten in their last six league matches. Anyway, Manchester City have always been a stumbling block for Chelsea in recent years as the Blues have won just once against the Etihad outfit in their last six matches.Raheem Sterling, who was forced off at the weekend before the hour mark with a knock, is set to start alongside Kevin de Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and David Silva if Pep Guardiola opts for the 4-1-4-1 formation. Anyway, the in-form Yaa Tourè offers a valid alternative. There are also rumours that Pep Guardiola will field a three-man defense to match Chelsea's favorite system. In that case, Fernandinho, Bacary Sagna or Aleksandar Kolarov could be pulled into the back three.
Chelsea have won each of their last seven matches in the Premier League and are currently one-point clear of the Citizens. They have conceded just one goal in the process and have scored at least 2 goals in 6 of those 7 games. The Blues beat the previously unbeaten Tottenham 2-1 at Stamford Bridge last weekend. Diego Costa and Eden Hazard have both rediscovered form - the duo have netted 17 Premier League goals between them this season.
Antonio Conte is again expected to name an unchanged starting XI. The 3-4-3 system will see Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill start at the back. The likes of Pedro, Diego Costa and Eden Hazard will spearhead the attack while Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso will be utilized as wing backs. N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic are likely to start in the middle of the park. John Terry and John Obi Mikel remain sidelined.
