LIVERPOOL v MANCHESTER UTD BETTING PREVIEW

Liverpool are currently fourth in the Premier League table with 16 points from seven games. They are unbeaten in their last seven games in all competitions and enter this match on the back of 5 consecutive victories in which they have scored 16 goals beating Leicester City and Chelsea recently. Anyway, they are yet to keep a clean sheet in the league this season, with the likes of Hull City, Swansea City and Burnley scoring against them.

Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum are major doubts and Daniel Sturridge is likely to start if one of them is unavailable. Nathaniel Clyne and Dejan Lovren are expected to be fit. Jurgen Klopp could move Philippe Coutinho into a slightly deeper central midfield role, alongside Jordan Henderson, with Emre Can coming in as the holding midfielder in the 4-3-3 formation. Loris Karius is expected to keep his place in goal ahead of Simon Mignolet.

Manchester UTD find themselves two places and three points worse off than Liverpool in the Premier League table. It was all going well with four successive wins and the major signings settling in nicely, but three defeats followed. They have since won three more games, but suffered a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Stoke City just before the international break. Man United have lost five of their last ten away league games whilst Liverpool have not lost at home since January.

Wayne Rooney is expected to remain on the bench as Jose Mourinho could spring a surprise with Marouane Fellaini in place of Juan Mata, allow Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford to flank Zlatan Ibrahimovic in attack.  Daley Blind has been in great form at left-back, though, and could yet keep his place in the side in place of Luke SHaw who is struggling with fitness concerns this season. Chris Smalling, Eric Bailly and Antonio Valencia appear likely starters elsewhere in the back four.
