LEICESTER v CHELSEA BETTING PREVIEW
Leicester enter this match on the back of two 3-0 wins over Club Brugge in Champions League and Burnley in Premier League. The Premier League title holders may be in the bottom half having collected less than half of the points available in their opening five games, but those seven points are actually equal to what they earned in the equivalent fixtures last term.Leonardo Ulloa and Shinji Okazaki are expected to replace Jamie Vardy and new signing Islam Slimani. The likes of Ahmed Musa and Demarai Gray will hope to be given the chance to show their electric pace from the start. Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel missed the match on Saturday due to concussion, and is likely to again be left out for Ron-Robert Zieler. Riyad Mahrez and Danny Drinkwater could start the game from the bench while Matty James and Nampalys Mendy (both ankle) are not yet fit.
Chelsea will be desperate to return to winning ways. A 2-2 draw that day was followed by a 2-1 home reverse to Liverpool last Friday to suddenly drop the Blues five points behind pacesetting Manchester City. They have only kept one clean sheet away from home since February - and that came in a 4-0 win at Aston Villa.
The likes of Marcos Alonso, Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and Michy Batshuayi are all expected to start. Eden Hazard and Diego Costa may well be rested for the match while Loftus-Cheek and Aina are likely to be in the starting XI. John Terry, Kurt Zouma and Marco van Ginkel remain out through injury.
Leicester City enjoyed their clashes with Chelsea last season, beating them 2-1 in Jose Mourinho’s final match in charge and then picking up a point after the title was sealed on the final day.
