JUVENTUS vs AC MILAN BETTING PREVIEW
Juventus enter this match on the back of an unconvincing goalless draw against SPAL ahead of the International break. Prior to that, the Bianconeri were on a 12 match winning streak in Serie A and now sit two points above the side from Naples at the top of the table. They boast near-perfect home records with 12 wins and just three draws (two goalless draw agains Barcelona and Inter Milan, and 2-2 against Tottenham) in 15 fixtures since mid-October. Furthermore, Juve have kept a clean sheet in each of their last 10 league games. The last direct encounter against Milan saw a Gonzalo Higuain's brace giving the Old Lady a 2-0 win at S.Siro back in October.
Massimiliano Allegri is expected to play with a ver yoffensive 4-2-3-1 in which Paulo Dybala, Douglas Costa and Mario Mandzukic should support Gonzalo Higuain up front since Juan Cuadrado and Federico Bernardeschi are still out through injury. Giorgio Chiellini, Alex Sandro and Sami Khedira are all nearing full fitness but may be rested aheah of next week's Real Madrid clash. Mehdi Benatia and Miralem Pjanic appear sure starters since they are banned in Champions League. Blaise Matuidi and Claudio Marchisio are in contention for a starting berth in midfield while Mattia De Sciglio and Kwadwo Asamoah should start as full backs.
AC Milan managed to extend the five-game winning streak in Serie A with a 3-2 win over Chievo ahead of the break, meaning they have bagged eight wins in their last nine Serie A outings. The Rossoneri have been knocked out of the Europa League (5-1 on aggregate against Arsenal) and they can now fully focus on the domestic league. Gennaro Gattuso's men sit just five points behind rivals Inter, who occupy the final Champions League position. As to direct matches, the Devils have lost their last 3 outings against Juventus in all competitions.
Alessio Romagnoli and Davide Calabria are both available again after injury while Igrazio Abate remains sidelined and Andrea Conti has picked up a fresh knee injury and may not play again this season. Up front, Patrick Cutrone is expected to keep Andre Silva on the bench with Hakan Calhanoglu and Suso on his flanks. In midfield, the starting trio should be formed by Franck Kessiè, Lucas Biglia and Giacomo Bonaventura. No changes are expected in defense where Leonardo Bonucci and Ricardo Rodriguez are both expected to keep their starting berth alongsde Calabria and Romagnoli.
