How to watch Netherlands v Czech Republic

The match is scheduled for a 5pm BST kick-off on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

Netherlands vs Czech Republic will be held at the Puskas Arena (Budapest, Hungary) and will be televised on ITV for free. UK viewers will be also able to watch the match online via the ITV Hub.

Netherlands vs Czech Republic Betting Preview

Netherland were impressive in their three group stage matches. They topped the Group C with maximum points, having beaten Ukraine (3-2), Austria (2-0), and North Macedonia (3-0). Frank De Boer’s side are unbeaten in seven matches and has been the highest scoring team in the group stage with 8 goals netted. The former Crystal Palace manager has witnessed his side score at least two goals in each of their last 10 matches in all competitions.

Czech Republic qualified for the knockout stage as one of the best third-placed sides. They were drawn in the Group D, and they collected one victory, one draw and a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of England. Prior to that match at Wembley, the Czechs defeated Scotland 2-0 and drew 1-1 against Croatia. Patrik Schick has scored all three goals, including arguably the goal of the tournament so far. As to direct encounters, the Czechs have actually won their last two meetings with the Netherlands and four of the last six.

Best Odds

Netherlands are the overwhelming favourites for the game at 18/25 with Unibet, while you can back the Czech Republic to pull off an upset at 9/2 with William Hill. The draw is priced at 3/1 with Betfred.

Probable Line-Ups

Netherlands (3-4-1-2): Stekelenburg; De Ligt, De Vrij, Blind; Dumfries, F. De Jong, De Roon, Van Aanholt; Wijnaldum; Depay, Malen

Frank de Boer opted against making wholesale changes for their final fixture - despite having qualification assured - and is expected to keep faith in his regular starters. His main selection decision will be over whether to select Wout Weghorst or Donyell Male as Memphis Depay's partner up front. Luuk de Jong has been ruled out for the remainder of the tournament through injury, as well as Donny Van De Beek.

Czech Republic (4-2-3-1): Vaclík; Coufal, Celustka, Kalas, Mateju; Soucek, Holeš; Masopust, Darida, Jankto; Schick

Silhavy should not make significant alterations to the XI despite their underwhelming showing at Wembley. Jan Boril is suspended and is likely to be replaced by Ales Mateju. Alex Kral or Tomas Holes will partner Tomas Soucek in central midfield while Jakub Jankto, Vladimir Darida and Lukas Masopust will start as offensive midfielders behind Patrik Schick.

Netherlands v Czech Republic Predictions

Netherlands steamrolled their competition in Group C, going 3-0-0 and scoring eight goals while conceding two. Czech Republic and will put up a fight in Budapest but the Oranje should have too much class in the final third for the Czechs. Netherlands to win and both teams to score is our recommended bet. The 2-1 and 3-1 scorelines are our picks in the Correct Score market. Memphis Depay and Georgino Wijnaldum the most likely goalscorers but there is value in "Donyell Malen to score" too.
