BOURNEMOUTH vs LIVERPOOL BETTING PREVIEW
Bournemouth put up a good fight against Man Utd losing just 1-0 in midweek, which saw their winless streak extended to five fixtures. That loss also means they have lost all five of their matches against top-six sides this season. Eddie Howe's side currently sit 14th in the league standings, two points above the relegation zone. They have lost just two of their last eight matches at Vitality Stadium and boast the best defensive record of any team outside of the top seven in the Premier League. Eddie Howe is expected to hand a recall to Jermain Defoe after favouring Callum Wilson as the lone striker last time out. Josh King should keep his place as the support striker in the usual 4-4-1-1 formation. Jordon Ibe could replace Ryan Fraser out wide, while Junior Stanislas should retain his starting berth on the other flank. Andrew Surman and Lewis Cook will push for return in central midfield while Adam Smith, Simon Francis Nathan Akè and Charlie Daniels will probably form the four man backline.
Liverpool only recorded a goalless draw at home against West Brom on Wednesday night, their second stalemate in a row in Premier League as they were held off by city rivals Everton (1-1) last weekend. The Reds have conceded just two goals in their last five games - both from the penalty spot - but have failed to convert their chances and produced several underwhelming displays in the final third, despite netting seven in their win over Spartak Moscow (7-0) in Champions League ten days ago. Klopp's men are on three away matches winning streak during which they have scored 12 goals.
Jurgen Klopp will have to make do without Emre Can due to suspension. Simon Mignolet and Jordan Henderson are both expected to return to the starting XI, with the latter playing in midfield alongside Georginio Wijnaldum and Philippe Coutinho, with James Milner providing cover. Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah may form the front three once again, although Dominic Solanke and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are possible alternatives. At the back, Alberto Moreno remains sidelined, so Joe Gomez and Andrew Robertson will start as full backs, with Ragnar Klavan partnering Dejan Lovren at the centre. Joel Matip and Nathaniel Clyne remain sidelined.
