AJAX v LYON BETTING PREVIEW 

Ajax have won eleven successive matches across all competitions, including Legia Warszawa, København and Schalke 04 in Europa League without conceding a goal at the Amsterdam Arena. The two-legged victory over Schalke was remarkable - Ajax dominated the first leg to win 2-0, lost the second leg 2-0 in Germany and went 3-0 down on the night during extra time, only to come back and score twice with ten men. Anyway, their chances of lifting the Eredivisie took a huge blow on Sunday as they lost 1-0 away to PSV, leaving them four points adrift of league leaders Feyenoord with only two games left in the season.

The hosts are without suspended duo Nick Viergever and Joel Veltman. Left back Daley Sinkraven is doubtful with a knee injury. Other than that, the Dutch outfit are at full strength. Kasper Dolberg should start as central striker, with Amin Younes and Bertrand Traorè on his flanks. In midfield, the talented Davy Klaassen will be partnered by Lasse Schone and Hakim Ziyech.  The likes of Matthijs De Ligt and Davinson Sanchez should start as central defensive pair.

Lyon are not in the best of form, winning just three of their last nine games in all competitions and losing five times. In Ligue 1 OL are currently in 4th spot though they are 20 points shy of third placed Nice. Domestically they have won seven and lost seven of their 17 away games in the French top flight and in Europe they have managed just two wins on their travels if you ignore the penalty shootout win over Besiktas. In Europa League, Lyon blew aweay Dutch side AZ over two legs, but they had to cling on against Roma in the last 16, before edging out Besiktas in a nerve-jangling penalty shootout in Istanbul. OL have scored a goal in each of their last 18 competitive matches.

Memphis Depay is ineligible for this competition while Alexandre Lacazette is a majord doubt, meaning that Nabil Fekir is likely to lead the line with Mathieu Valbuena, Corentin Tolisso and Rachid Ghezzal behind him as offensive midfielders. In midfield, Maxime Gonalons and Lucas Tousart are expected to feature from the off while the likes of Cristophe Jallet, Emanuel Mammana, Moukhtar Diakhaby and Jeremy Morel should form the four man backline.
