WEST BROM v ARSENAL BETTING PREVIEW

West Brom have reached the symbolic 40 points mark with 10 games still to play and they look to have lost motivations. In the last two matches, the Baggies have lost 2-0 at home to Crystal Palace and then slumped to a 3-0 defeat at Everton. They were unbeaten in the previous four with 2 wins and 2 draws. WBA remain in eighth place; seven points adrift of Everton looking up and four better off than Stoke looking down.

Chris Brunt and Salomon Rondon were rested against Everton last weekend, but they may both return against the Gunners, with James McClean and Hal Robson-Kanu perhaps dropping back to the bench. James Morrison is a doubt after suffering an ankle injury this week, while Matt Phillips looks likely to miss out with a hamstring injury once again. The back four of Craig Dawson, Gareth McAuley, Jonny Evans and Allan Nyom is likely to stay unchanged.

Arsenal went on with a full-strength squad and managed to regain some pride last weekend with their 5-0 demolition of fifth division side Lincoln City in the FA Cup.
The Premier League has seen them lose three of their last four matches and Wenger's men come into this game in fifth spot, five points behind fourth placed Liverpool although they do have two games in hand. Manchester United are in better form just a point behind them. Furthermore, Arsenal have lost five of their last eight games in all competitions. Of the three wins in that time, two have been against non-league opposition in the FA Cup.

Arsene Wenger has doubts over Kieran Gibbs and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The pair is expected to miss out, joining Mathieu Debuchy, Mohamed Elneny and Santi Cazorla on the sidelines. Nacho Monreal looks likely to start at left-back for the Gunners, then, probably alongside Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi and Hector Bellerin. Aaron Ramsey completed 90 minutes against Lincoln in the FA Cup and may start alongside Granit Xhaka at the base of midfield. Up front Alexis Sanchez is likely to lead the line, supported by Theo Walcott, Alex Iwobi and Mesut Ozil as offensive midfielders.
