Liverpool v Arsenal Betting Preview
Liverpool made a fantastic start to the season by winning six and drawing three of their first nine games. Anyway they will be desperate to bounce back after suffering their first defeat of the season away to West Ham (3-2) in their last outing. Prior to that they only managed to draw 2-2 at home against Brighton. As a result, they now trail Chelsea by 4 points in the Premier League. As to direct encounters, Liverpool have lost just one of their 11 Premier League meetings with Arsenal since Klopp took charge, winning seven of those.
Conversely, Arsenal have rebounded from a disturbing start of the season. The Gunners edged Watford 1-0 in their last Premier League match and are enjoying a 10-match unbeaten streak in all competitions. Mikel Arteta's men moved up to 5th place in the domestic table ahead of the international break, six points off league leaders Chelsea. They look a more organised and team and their defense has improved dramatically since Arsenal have kept a clean sheet in six of their last nine top-flight away games, including three in a row.
Liverpool (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabinho, Thiago; Salah, Jota, Mane
Jurgen Klopp currently has nine first team stars struggling with injuries. Andrew Robertson, Divock Origi and Jordan Henderson are major doubts while Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita, Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones, Joe Gomez and James Milner are out through injury. Should Robertson be unavailable, Kostas Tsimikas would in all likelihood deputise after a number of promising showings. Henderson's possible unavailability effectively leaves Klopp with just Thiago Alcantara, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Fabinho to choose from in midfield. Up front, Diogo Jota will compelte the offensive trio alongside Sadio Manè and Mo Salah.
Arsenal (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Thomas, Lokonga; Saka, Smith Rowe, Odegaard; Aubameyang.
Granit Xhaka and Sead Kolasinac are the only two Arsenal squad members definitely ruled out of the trip to Merseyside. Up front, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will lead the line, with Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith-Rowe and one between Martin Odegaard and Alexandre Lacazette forming the offensive midfield trio. Albert Sambi Lokonga and Thomas Partey are likely to anchor the midfield. Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes will form the centre-back pair, with Takehiro Tomiyasu at right back. On the other side, Nuno Tavares replaced the injured Kieran Tierney in Gameweek 9 and has impressed in the Scot's stead, so they are in contention for a starting berth.
Best OddsLiverpool are heavy favourites at 1/2 with Betfred. The draw is backable at 4/1 with BetVictor while Arsenal to win is priced a 6/1 with Unibet.

Liverpool v Arsenal Predictions
Arsenal are the in-form team but their recent record against the Reds has been very poor. the Gunners lost 3-1 this corresponding fixture last season while the reverse match at the Emirates saw the Red comfortably winning 3-0. This year we expect more competition but, at the end, Liverpool will take all three points. Mo Salah has scored 6 goals in his 8 matches against the Gunners and we back the Egyptian to find the back of the net once again. As to te correct score, we go for the 2-0 Liverpool to win.
