SEVILLA v REAL MADRID BETTING PREVIEW
Sevilla have a mountain to climb here. Anyway, despite losing the first leg 3-0, they had plenty of chances to score. As to La Liga, the Andalusians occupy second place in the overall standings, four points behind Real Madrid, following the impressive 4-0 hammering of high-flying Real Sociedad away form home at the weekend. That result means that Jorge Sampaoli's men have won four of their last five matches and will be determined to get a result here.
Manager Jorge Sampaoli is likely to rotate his side with the weekend's league game in mind. New signings Clement Lenglet and Stevan Jovetic could make their Sevilla debuts while Daniel Carrico, Michael Krohn-Dehli, Benoit Tremoulinas and Carlos Fernandez are all out injured. Samir Nasri and Ganso are in contention for a starting berth as number 10, behind the lone striker Wissam Ben Yedder or Lucas Vietto.
Real Madrid are 3-0 up from the 1st Leg and they only need to net a single goal here to leave Sevilla needing a highly improbable five. The Blancos defeated Granada 5-0 win in their weekend La Liga fixture to extend their winning run to five matches in all competitions and to consolidate their position at the top of the league table. They have an excellent record against Sevilla and have won five of their last six meetings against Los Nervionenses.
Zinedine Zidane has not included Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric in the list. Isco will miss the game after a knock he received last time out while James Rodriguez is a major doubt due to a calf injury. Sergio Ramos is back from injury. The likes of Pepe, Lucas Vázquez, Mateo Kovacic and Gareth Bale are also ruled out for the game. As consequence, Marcos Asensio and Alvaro Morata look sure to start upfront.
