MANCHESTER CITY vs FEYENOORD BETTING PREVIEW 

Manchester City are already through to the Champions League knockout rounds after four straight wins, including both at home and away against Napoli (2-1 and 4-2 respectively). The Citizens crushed the Feyenoord 4-0 in Rotterdam at the start of the qualifying campaign. They have won their last seven at home in the league and Champions League by an aggregate of 27-4. Pep Guardiola's men extended their winning run to 16 matches in all competitions with the 2-0 win at Leicester on the weekend. As a result, they sit top of the Premier League table with a 8 points adavantage over 2nd placed Man UTD, having only dropped 2 points in 13 league fixtures so far.

Pep Guardiola is expected to make wholesale changes to his side. Second-choice players such as Yaya Tourè, Danilo, Bernardo Silva, Claudio Bravo and Ilkay Gundogan are all expected to start. Nicolas Otamendi was suspended against Leicester and looks a sure starter, as well as Sergio Aguero who did not play against the Foxes. Teenager Phil Foden will be looking for game time as qualification is already secured. The likes of John Stones and Benjamin Mendy remain sidelined.



Feyenoord have lost all four group matches thus far. They were hammered by Man City at gome (4-0) on opening night and could only manage a stoppage-time consolation goal when going down 3-1 at Napoli. In the double challenge to Shakhtar Donetsk, the Dutch outfit recorded a 2-1 home loss and a 3-1 defeat against in Ukraine. Giovanni Van Bronckhorst's men have scored in all but one of their Champions League matches so far but they have already conceded 12 goals. Domestic results show this is not a strong Feyenoord outfit - they have only won one of the last seven games, and that came against lower league opposition in the Dutch Cup.

Giovanni Van Bronckhorst is likely to confirm his favoured 4-3-3 system in which Nicolai Jorgensen will be flanked by Jean Paul Boetius and Steven Berghuis. In midfield, the starting trio is expected to be formed by Tonny Vilhena, Jens Toornstra and Sofian Amrabat. Karim El Ahmadi is suspended for the away side after an accumulation of yellow cards while Enrico Botteghin, Jan-Arie van der Heijden and Sven van Beek are out through injury.
