Trent Alexander-Arnold is still out through injury. That leaves a problem in the right-back position with James Milner suspended and Joe Gomez also out. Fabinho could drop back to fill that position but the Brazilian is not 100% fit as well as Virgil Van Dijk. In midfield, Georginio Wijnaldum is back in training but Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are likely to start. Xherdan Shaqiri's inclusion in the starting XI will largely depend on what formation Klopp goes for. The Swiss could complete the offensive midfield trio alongside Sadio Manè and Roberto Firmino, behind the lone striker Mo Salah.
Harry Maguire is a doubt for Wednesday's trip after he was withdrawn midway through the Foxes' defeat to Wolves last time out. Daniel Amartey will definitely miss out, but Puel does at least have options further up the field as Harvey Barnes and Demarai Gray are pushing for inclusion. Danny Simpson may continue at right-back with Puel likely to use Ricardo Pereira as an "out of position" midfielder. James Maddison and Marc Albrighton will be the other two players supporting Jamie Vardy up front, with Kelechi Iheanacho providing a further option.
Leicester (4-2-3-1): Schmeichel; Simpson, Morgan, Maguire, Chilwell; Mendy, Ndidi; Pereira, Maddison, Albrighton; Vardy

Liverpool v Leicester betting preview
Liverpool have won 10 of 11 unbeaten league games at Anfield this season
Liverpool have had 11 days off since beating Crystal Palace in a seven-goal thriller, having crashed out of both domestic cup competitions. The win over Palace also extended the Reds' unbeaten run at Anfield to 32 matches in the Premier League. Only the Citizens managed to take any points off them this season, but Jurgen Klopp's men have won each of their seven matches since that stalemate whilst also overcoming both Red Star Belgrade and Napoli in Champions League. As to direct encounter earlier this season, seemed at their typical best in a 2-1 victory over the Foxes at King Power Stadium on Sept. 1.Trent Alexander-Arnold is still out through injury. That leaves a problem in the right-back position with James Milner suspended and Joe Gomez also out. Fabinho could drop back to fill that position but the Brazilian is not 100% fit as well as Virgil Van Dijk. Leicester are looking to avoid a third straight league loss
Leicester, who come into this match on the back of four defeats in five games, were also without a fixture at the weekend, having been deposed from the FA Cup by lowly Newport County in the third round. The Foxes have beaten Manchester City and Chelsea in just the last five weeks and currently sit 9th in the league standings. However, after three defeats in a row in all competitions (against Newport in FA Cup, Southampton and Wolves in Premier League), manager Claude Puel is under major pressure. Leicester have lost the last three meetings between these two sides, 6 of the last 7 played at Anfield Road.Harry Maguire is a doubt for Wednesday's trip after he was withdrawn midway through the Foxes' defeat to Wolves last time out. Daniel Amartey will definitely miss out, but Puel does at least have options further up the field as Harvey Barnes and Demarai Gray are pushing for inclusion.
