LEICESTER v ATLETICO MADRID BETTING PREVIEW
That single goal came via a controversial penalty that Antoine Griezmann converted. Since then, Craig Shakespeare men let a two goal lead slip away to Crystal Palace (2:2), their third consecutive game without a win after a run of six victories in a row under the new manager. The Foxes have won all four of their Champions League home games this term. If the Foxes concede a goal or goals, they must win clear by a minimum of 2 goal margin.
Robert Huth is suspended for the Foxes but Craig Shakespeare has confirmed captain Wes Morgan is fit to play this crucial match. Wilfried Ndidi is a doubt for Leicester and could be replaced by Andy King. Up front, Islam Slimani is struggling with a groin injury and Shinji Okazaki is expected to partner Jamie Vardy. The likes of Marc Albrighton and Riyad Mahrez will retain ther berth as wingers, with Ahmed Musa providing cover. Nampalys Mendy and Molla Wague are ruled out.
Atletico Madrid followed the narrow win over Leicester with a 3-0 win over Osasuna to make it 10 games unbeaten in all competitions. Their last defeat came at home against Barcelona in February. The Rojiblancos have won seven of their nine Champions League games this season (D1 L1) on their way to winning Group D and subsequently easing past Bayer Leverkusen in the last round. No team has collected more victories.
Atletico will be hopeful of a return for Kevin Gameiro after he returned to training following a groin injury, Anyway, Fernando Torres is likely to start up front alongside Antoine Griezmann. In midfield, Koke is expected to play out wide once agian, with Yannick Carrasco on the other flank, and Gabi and Saul Niguez in the middle of the park. Diego Simeone is without injured quartet Augusto Fernandez, Miguel Moya and Sime Vrsaljko.
