JUVENTUS v LAZIO BETTING PREVIEW

Juventus missed the opportunity to win their 6th Scudetto in a row on Sunday night, after a 3-1 defeat to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. They are a point away from securing the Serie A title and will face relegaton-threatened Crotone next Sunday. Max Allegri's men, who will face Real Madrid in the Champions League final next month, have already beaten Lazio twice against them this term. The Bianconeri have scored 11 goals and conceded none across their last six meetings with the Biancocelesti, winning all of those. They met in the Coppa Italia last season which Juventus won 2-0.

After rotating at Roma on Sunday, Massimiliano Allegri will surely field his best available XI here. Hence, Dani Alves and Paulo Dybala will feature from the off with the Brazilian deployed in the offensive midfield trio behind Gonzalo Higuain. In midfield, Sami Khedira is injured and Miralem Pjanic is suspended. As a result, Mario Lemina is likely to partner Claudio Marchisio in the middle of the park. At the back, Andre Barzagli should play as right back, with Alex Sandro on the opposite side. Of course, Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci will be paired at the heart of the defense.



Much like Juventus did, Manager Simone Inzaghi also rested his key players in their last league match to Artemio Franchi in a 3-2 loss to Fiorentina. However, the Biancocelesti have already secured their position in the table and they care more about this final where they will have the advantage of playing in their own stadium. Lazio have already beaten Inter Milan and Roma en route to the final. In terms of direct matches with the Old Lady, they have not beaten Juventus since January 2013 – their only win over the Bianconeri in their last 23 encounters.

Manager Simone Inzaghi has doubts over Marco Parolo and Jordan Lukaku ahead of this clash, while girst-choice goalkeeper Federico Marchetti is out through injury and will be replaced by Thomas Strakosha. Up front, Ciro Immobile will be flanked by Felipe Anderson and Keita Balde while the midfield trio will be probably formed by Lucas Biglia, Senad Lulic and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The likes of Dusan Basta, Wesley Hoedt, Stefan Radu and Stefan De Vrij are expected to start in defense.
