That was Arsenal's third straight win, a run that lifted them to 2nd position in the table standings. In, terms of direct matches, the Gunners have shown their dominance against the Toffees on their recent encounters. Wenger's men have won 19 out of their 20 last matches against Everton.
Shkodran Mustafi was forced off early last time out and will miss the match. Hector Bellerin will be restored at right back. Alex Iwobi could replace Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain into the starting XI after his impact from the bench against Stoke. The likes of Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil wil support the lone striker Alexis Sanchez upfront. In midfield, Aaron Ramsey is a major doubt.
