Chelsea have won just one of their last eight matches in all competitions and their crisis deepened at the weekend as the Blues suffered another defeat against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are currently third in Group G, one point behind Dynamo Kyiv and a three behind group leaders Porto after a solitary home win over Maccabi Tel Aviv, a defeat at Mourinho's former club Porto and a point from the reverse fixture in Kiev two weeks ago.
Cesc Fabregas could return to the starting lineup for the Blues. Nemanja Matic is available after missing the defeat to Liverpool through suspension but Thibaut Courtois, Branislav Ivanovic and Pedro are all absent - meaning Kurt Zouma may well have to continue to fill in at right-back. Eden Hazard is likely to start despite his lack of form. Radamel Falcao is out of clash with after picking up an injury in training on Tuesday.
Dynamo, meantime, have only lost once in their last 40 Ukrainian league matches and lead Chelsea by a point in Group G. Furthermore, the Ukrainians have kept a clean sheet in nine of their last 10 matches in all competitions.
Serhiy Rebrov has the luxury of a fully fit squad to choose from. He will deploy a 4-2-3-1 system with Moraes up fron, supported by Yarmolenko, Buyalskyi and Husyev.
Dinamo Kiev are yet to win in England in the Champions League (D1 L7) failing to score in six of their eight games away to Premier League clubs. The goalless draw between the teams last month was their first-ever meeting in the Champions League against Chelsea.
