HUDDERSFIELD vs TOTTENHAM BETTING PREVIEW
After a bright start to the season, Huddersfield have now failed to win in their last five competitive matches. After a 2-0 loss at West Ham and a 1-1 home draw against Leicester, the Terriers took a point from their away match with Burnley last weekend, and currently sit 8th in the Premier League table. They have kept four clean sheets in their opening six Premier League games of the season but they have only scored 2 goals after their 0-3 win at Crystal Palace on the opening weekend.
There is no change in the injury situation for David Wagner ahead of this encounter as Danny Williams, Steve Mounie and Collin Quaner are all still out. Laurent Depoitre should again start as the lone striker with Elias Kachunga, Tom Ince and one between Abdelhamid Sabiri and Rajiv van La Parra forming the attacking midfield trio. In the middle of the park, Jonathan Hogg was preferred to Philip Billing alongside Aaron Mooy last weekend, and may get the nod once more. No changes are expected in defense. Kasey Palmer and Jon Stankovic remain out.
Tottenham are struggling at home but they have a 100% winning record on the road so far. A 3-0 win over APOEL on Tuesday night means Spurs have won six successive away matches. Prio to that the Lilywhites beat Newcastle (0-2), Everton (0-3) and West Ham (2-3) away from home in Premier League. Spurs have lost just once this season, to Chelsea. They sit fourth in the top flight table and have even managed two wins from two in the Champions League - putting the nightmare campaign of last year behind them.
Christian Eriksen returned to training on Thursday after missing the midweek trip to Cyprus due to illness and should regularly start alongside Dele Alli and Harry Kane up-front. Anyway, Son Heung-min is a viable option if Mauricio Pochettino considers switching from either a 3-3-3-1 or 3-4-2-1 formation to a 4-2-3-1. In midfield, Moussa Sissoko looks set to retain his start, either next to, or just in front of holding midfielder Eric Dier. Serge Aurier is suspended, so Kieran Trippier will start as right wing-back. Danny Rose, Victor Wanyama, Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela are still out through injury.
