Top Betting Sites to bet on Euro 2020
Group B Betting PreviewBelgium came away from the 2018 World Cup with a bronze medal and are joint favorite to win Euro 2020 (alongside England). Many expect Belgium’s ‘golden generation’ to break the country’s duck on the big stage this summer or at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. This is a squad that is now packed full of tournament experience and players in their prime. Since finishing third at the World Cup, Belgium have won 21 of their 25 games in all competition, with just two defeats. They recorded a perfect qualifiying campaign - 10 wins out of 10 games with 40 goals scored - beating 4:1 and 3:1 Russia in the process.
Determining the runner-up is a no easy task as Russia, Finland and Denmark all have chance to go through.
Finland have proved to be one of the surprise packages during the qualifying campaign. The Finns finished top of the inaugural UEFA Nations League, a result that guaranteed a play-off place for the Euros. Actually they did not needed it as they finished runner-up to Italy in their qualifying group to secure their place at Euro 2020. Since then, they impressively won their Nations League group by beating Blugaria and Republic of Ireland both at home and away. Finland cannot match Belgium's power but they could surely upset Russia and Denmark despite both the opponents will play at home. Top scorer Teemu Pukki suffered ankle ligament damage on early May and could be forced to miss the tournament.
Russia comfortably qualified for The Euros, winning eight of their ten group matches, scoring 33 goals and conceding only eight n the process. Anyway, their group include Belgium, a struggling Scotland and three minnows such as Cyprus, Kazakhstan and San Marino. Stanislav Cherchesov’s men are now on a poor run of form, having failed to win any of their last six outings. They had a very poor Nations League campaign and were soundly beaten by Serbia (5-0) in the last match.
Denmark have gone through qualifying unbeaten but only manage to secure their place at the Euros at the very last match against Republic of Ireland (1-1). They managed to collect four points in the double encounter with Switzerland, and comfortably beat Gibraltar and Georgia. Since then, the Danes had a decent Nations League campaign - doing the double over Iceland, beating 1-0 England at Wembley. Anyway, Kasper Hjulmand's men were outclassed twice by Belgium (2:0 and 4:2). Home advantage in all three European Championship matches could be a key factor.

Euro 2020 Group B Predictions
Belgium have soundly beaten both Russia and Denmark - in the Euro 2020 qualifiers and Nations League respectively - and are expected to easily top the Group B. Finland's chance of advancing through to the knockout stages decreased after Norwich striker Teemu Pukki suffered an injury. Following a poor run of results, Russia could even struggle to make an impact in Group B although playing two games on home soil. As a result, we expect a solid Denmark to finish runner up to Belgium while Finland could have the better over Russia for the third place and hope to qualify as one of the four best third placed teams.
Will Russia or Finland a to knockout stage?
Russia and Finland are 4/9 and 2/1 respectively to qualify with BetVictor. With Belgium expected to win all three group fixtures, their chance to qualify as one of the best four third placed teams are lower compared to other groups. So we expect an early exit for both Russia and Finland.
Will Belgium win all three group stage matches?
Belgium have already hammered both Denmark and Russia in the qualifiers and Nations League and we expect a similar outcome at the Euros, expecially because they will do their best to earn a place in the knockout stage afte the first two games. They will face Finland in the thid and last group match and we believe Belgium can beat the Finns even if they rest their best players. As a result, De Bruyne & co. should finish with 9 points in the Group B.
Group B Fixtures & Venues
The matches in Group B will be held in Copenhagen’s Parken Stadium and the Krestovsky Stadium in St. Petersburg. Denmark and Russia will be favoured by home advantage, with the Danes hoping to gain and edge over the Russia in the direct encounter in Copenhagen.
