CRYSTAL PALACE v LIVERPOOL BETTING PREVIEW

Following a five game unbeaten run, Crystal Palace have lost their last two Premier League matches - a 0:1 home defeat to West Ham and a 3-1 loss to Leicester last weekend. The Eagles currently sit 11th in the league standings with a W3 D2g L4 record. They have a positive record in direct matches against Liverpool, losing just one of their last 5 league encounters, though that loss came in this fixture last season.

Christian Benteke can be expected to make his first appearance against his former club while Andros Townsend and Wilfried Zaha should operate out wide. Jason Puncheon is still a doubt due to a calf problem, but if he is fit to start, Yohan Cabaye may drop back into the double-pivot alongside James McArthur. In defense, Scott Dann is also a doubt bu he should partner James Tomkins at the heart of the backline. Pape Souare, Loic Remy and Jonathan Benteke are all ruled out.

Liverpool are flying high at the moment. Last weekend’s win over West Bromwich Albion saw them move level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City and Arsenal. Klopp's men also boast the joint-best away record of the league so far and enter this match on the back of two wins in a row on their travels. The Reds extended their unbeaten streak in all competitions to 10 games with a 2-1 win over Spurs in midweek in the EFL Cup.

Georginio Wijnaldum played 90 minutes in midweek and may earn a recall in place of Emre Can. Daniel Sturridge did score twice in midweek, but that may not be enough to earn him a starting berth as Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Manè should lead the line. James Milner, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Nathaniel Clyne should be the starters in defence, with Loris Karius starting in goal.
