BRISTOL CITY v MANCHESTER UTD BETTING PREVIEW
Bristol City are flying high in the second tier of English football and are third as they chase promotion despite narrowly avoiding relegation last term. Lee Johnson's side overcame Nottingham Forest at the weekend to make it four wins on the spin. They enter this match on the back of 8 victories of their last 10 matches in all competitions and have already knocked three Premier League teams out of the EFL Cup – Watford, Stoke and Crystal Palace - all in 90 minutes and netting nine goals in the process.
Manager Lee Johnson has to decide between going for a huge cup upset of rotating his squad. Matt Taylor could start for the hosts after coming off the bench on Saturday as he is expected to replace Jamie Paterson. Upfront, Cauley Woodrow is likely to partner Bobby Reid in a 4-4-2 starting system, with Marlon Pack, Korey Smith and Josh Brownhill all retaining their starting berth in midfield. The likes of Gary O'Neil, Jens Hegeler, Famara Diedhiou and Eros Pisano are out through injury while Callum O'Dowda is a majord doubt. Milan Djuric, who is coming back from a groin injury, is looking for game time after being an unused substitute on Saturday.
Manchester UTD have responded to their derby defeat ath the hands of Man City with back-to-back wins against Bournemouth and West Brom. The Red Devils go into this clash in almost identical form to their hosts having won 7 times in the last 9 games in all competitions. Josè Mourinho's men remain second in the Premier League standings, 11 point shy of their city rivals.
