RANGERS v CELTIC BETTING PREVIEW
Rangers will be hoping for a better outcome to this Old Firm Derby than the last one. The Gers were soundly beaten 5-1 by Celtic when the two arch rivals met in the Scottish Premier League back in September. Their only defeats this season have come away from home to the league's top two sides: Celtic and Aberdeen.Rangers will be without playmaker Niko Kranjcar as he suffered a serious knee injury and is ruled out for months. Warburton welcomes Jordan Rossiter back into his squad but has concerns over Danny Wilson. Josh Windass may even return to the starting line-up while Joey Barton is still serving a club suspension.
Since the first Old Firm Derby of the season, Celtic have continued to be in the goals. There was of course the famous 7-0 defeat at Barcelona in the immediate aftermath, but they are unbeaten in six games since - scoring 16 time in the process. The Hoops will be looking to avenge the defeat against Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday night. Their form in domestic football this season has been almost unblemished – a draw with Inverness is their only failure to win so far. The Scottish Champions have scored 25 goals in their last ten outings but conceded 17 at the other end.
Moussa Dembele, who rattled in a hat-trick against the Rangers last month, is expected to lead the line. Forrest, Rogic and Sinclair are likely to support the France-U21 striker from the offensive midfielders positions. Brendan Rodgers has the luxury of a fully-fit squad to choose as only centre back Dedryck Boyata remains injured.
