PSG's last two European campaigns have ended at this stage, but they are heavy favourite to progress

Paris Saint-Germain hold all the cards ahead of the return match after winning the first leg 2-0 at Manchester United. The Parisians have been in rampant form since their victory on English soil, scoring 14 goals in their last five domestic matches. As a result, they have won the last 8 matches in all competitions and top the Ligue 1 table with a 17 points margin over 2nd placed Lille, with one game in hand. PSG have lost just one of their last 16 Champions League games at home, winning 10 of those, when they were knocked out by Real Madrid last season. Furthermore, Thomas Tuchel's men have scored 35 goals in their last 10 Champions League home games but haven’t kept a clean sheet in each of the last five.

Edinson Cavani and Neymar continue to miss out for the hosts. Christopher Nkunku is in contention to take over from Dani Alves on the right, while Julian Draxler and Angel Di Maria look sure starters behind the lone striker Kylian Mbappè. Brazilian defender Marquinhos could play in the middle of the park, alongside playmaker Marco Verratti. The likes of Thiago Silva and Presnel Kimpembe will start as centre backs with Thilo Kehrer and Juan Bernat on their flanks. Thomas Meunier is sidelined while Adrien Rabiot has been left out of the squad.

That result made it 13 wins, two draws and one defeat - to PSG - in 16 matches under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Red Devils now sit 4th in the Prmeier League standings, 3 points shy of Tottenham and one point above Arsenal. The Norwegian manager has also guided his side through to the last eight of the FA Cup, overcoming Arsenal and Chelsea away en route but he has a mountain to clib here after a 2-0 defeat to PSG in the first leg match. Incredibly, the reverse fixture was the first time that these two European giants have faced off in a competitive match. Besides the first leg of this tie, Manchester United also lost 2-0 against PSG in the 2015 International Champions Cup.

The visitors are likely to be without 10 first-team players for this clash. The loss of Sanchez to injury, joining Anthony Martial, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard on the sidelines, could see Diogo Dalot recalled in attack after a good performance in that role against Crystal Palace. Paul Pogba is suspended after being sent off in the first game and Nemanja Matic is out thorugh injury, so Scott McTominay and Fred will anchor the midfield. With Antonio Valencia, Phil Jones and Matteo Darmian sidelined, the likes of Ashley Young, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw are expected to form the four man backline.
