MARSEILLE vs ATLETICO MADRID BETTING PREVIEW
Marseille lost ground in the race for a Champions League finish as Guingamp held them to a 3-3 draw in Ligue 1. They now sit three points behind Monaco ahead of the final week of the season. The French outfit have knocked out some decent opposition in Europa League so far in the likes of Athletic Bilbao and RB Leipzig, but they made hard work of their semi-final tie with Salzburg, scraping through in extra-time. They have recently lost on consistency and earned just one win in four games. Les Phoceens heir have a poor form away from the Velodrome in the Europa League this season, with just one win from their seven away games in Europe this term. They have kept just one clean sheet in their last eight games
Rudi Garcia isn't expected to make wholesale changes to his first choice XI. Rolando is still likely to be struggling with a knock, meaning that Gustavo should continue alongside Rami at centre-back. Kostas Mitroglou is also a doubt, which could see Valere Germain lead the attack. Dimitri Payet, Lucas Ocampos and Florian Thauvin are likely to provide creative support for the frontman, with Morgan Sanson and Maxime Lopez anchoring the midfield. The likes of Jordan Amavi and Bouna Sarr should feature fromn the off as left and right back respectively.
Atletico Madrid come into the match on the back of a 0-1 win at Getafe, their third success in the last four games after beating Alaves (0-1) and Arsenal (1-0) and suffering only a loss to Espanyol (0-2) along the way. Diego SImeone's men reached the knockouts after a lacklustre showing in the Champions League group stages. Entering the Europa League, the Colchoneros have since knocked out FC Copenhagen, Lokomotiv Moscow, Sporting Lisbon and Arsenal. This clash is their final opportunity to lift a trophy in a season that has seen them bow out of the Copa del Rey in January and finish well short of Barcelona in La Liga. The Rojiblancos have conceded just 20 goals in La Liga this season, even less than champions Barcelona.
The only potential injury concern for Atletico is winger Vitolo, who missed last time out. Filipe Luis is back from injury and could start the match. Sime Vrsaljko returns from suspension for Atletico Madrid, though Diego Simeone may continue with the experienced Juanfran at right-back. Gabi is favourite to start alongside Saul Niguez in the centre of the pitch. Diego Costa and Antoine Griezmann will spearhead the attack with wide support being provided by Angel Correa and Koke on the flanks.
