JUVENTUS v LAZIO BETTING PREVIEW

Juventus were just one victory short from claiming the treble and were no match for any side in domestic competition last term. During the pre-season, the Bianconeri suffered defeats to Borussia Dortmund and Marseille, with their only victory coming against Polish outfit Lechia Gdansk.

Key players Arturo Vidal, Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo have left the club while Alavaro Morata, Sami Khedira, Andrea Barzagli and Giorgio Chiellini are all injured. Allegri is likely to play with a 4-3-3 formation and new signings Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic and Simone Zaza are likely to lead the line.



Lazio have been in very poor form during this pre-season. They lost to Serie B outfit Vicenza before conceding three in defeats to Anderlecht and Mainz respectively. Later this month they will have a tough job of making it through to the group stage of the Champions League as they will face Bayer Leverkusen in the UCL qualifiers.

The Biancocelesti have no fresh injury problems to worry about and are expected to name a familiar lineup. Marco Parolo and Senad Lulic are both suspended. The Eagles recently signed Ricardo Kishna form Ajax and Milinkovic Savic from Genk but they are both expect to not take part in this match. Klose and Djordjevic are in contention for the lone striker berth while Felipe Anderson and Candreva will start as "trequartista".

Lazio have only won one of the last 17 meetings between the sides and suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat in the corresponding fixture two years ago. Anyway, Juventus needed penalties to beat the Biancocelsti in May’s Coppa Italia final after a deadlocked 90 minutes.
