Chelsea vs Man UTD Betting Preview
Chelsea enter this game on the back of a 3-0 victory away to Leicester last weekend and an impressive 4-0 win over Juventus in the Champions League in midweek. Thomas Tuchel's men are now unbeaten in the last 10 outings in all competitions. They sit top of the table in Premier League on 29 points, putting them three clear of Manchester City and four ahead of Liverpool in the race for this season’s league crown. The Blues have conceded just four league goals so far.
Manchester UTD are looking to build on their morale-boosting Champions League victory against Villarreal last Tuesday. They sit 8th in the Premier League standings - 12 points below Chelsea - and have won just once in their last seven league games. The Red Devils suffered a brutal 4-1 defeat at the hands of lowly Watford in last weekend’s EPL fixtures, resulting in the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. They are under caretaker Michael Carrick, with Ralf Rangnick set to take interim charge next week until the end of the season.

Probable Line-Ups
Chelsea (3-4-2-1): Mendy; Christensen, Thiago Silva, Rudiger; James, Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho, Alonso; Mount, Ziyech; Havertz
The hosts will be without Ben Chilwell for the next six weeks at least after he partially injured his anterior cruciate ligament. Mateo Kovacic and N'Golo Kantè are also sidelined while Romelu Lukaku should be fit enough to play at some stage. Marcos Alonso is expected to start at left back while Ruben Loftus-Cheek ably replaced the Kantè in midweek and could retain his place against the Red Devils. Kai Havertz has recovered from a tight hamstring and could start as forward, with Mason Mount and Hakim Ziyech behind the German youngster. At the back, the more experencied Andreas Christensen is expected to get the nod over Trevoh Chalobah.
Manchester UTD (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Lindelof, Shaw; McTominay, Fred; Sancho, B.Fernandes, Rashford; Ronaldo
The Red Devils could be without Luke Shaw and Fred, while Harry Maguire is suspended after getting a red card last weekend and Paul Pogba is out through injury. Carrick is expected to mantain Solskjaer's 4-2-3-1 system, with Cristiano Ronaldo spearheading the attack as usual. The offensive midfield trio should be formed by Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford with Donny Van De Beek and Anthony Martial providing further options. The likes of Fred and Scott McTominay will anchor the midfield while Eric Bailly will replace Maguire at the heart of the back.
Our Chelsea vs Man UTD Predictions
It’s hard for us to imagine Manchester United finishing this match with anything but another league defeat. They have conceded five unanswered goals against Liverpool, two against Manchester City and four against Watford while Chelsea have recently recorded their 28th clean sheet in 50 games under Thomas Tuchel. The correct score could be a comprehensive 3-0 win for the Blues. As to goalscorers, we expect Romelu Lukaku to play the final minutes of the second half and put his name on the scoresheet.
