AC Milan v Chelsea Betting Preview
AC Milan responded to the heavy KO against Chelsea last week (3-0 at Stamford Bridge) by beating Juventus 2-0 at San Siro in the big match of last weekend's Serie A. A victory that allowed the Rossoneri to stay in the wake of Napoli (3 points shy of the league leaders), the team with which they lost 2:1 at home before the international break. In the Champions League are sitting third on goal difference: Salzburg lead the group with 5 points, one more than Chelsea and Milan. Dinamo Zagreb have three points and can't be ruled out.Graham Potter started his Chelsea adventure by recording three consecutive victories. After winning his debut 2-1 at Crystal Palace, the former Brighton manager led the Blues to two home wins: 3-0 against AC Milan on Wednesday and 3-0 against Wolves at the weekend. Eight goals scored and only one conceded, a clear turnaround compared to the last two months under Thomas Tuchel's management. They are already 8 points behind Arsenal and 7 points behind Man City in the Premier League standings and will probably save their best performances for the Champions League.

Team News & Probable Line-Ups
MILAN (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Dest, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Bennacer; Krunic, Brahim Diaz, Leão; Giroud.
Manager Stefano Pioli can't rely upon starting goalkeeper Mike Maignan (replaced by Ciprian Tatarusanu between), plus the defenders Davide Calabria, Alessandro Florenzi and Simon Kjaer. The backline, therefore, will consist of Serginho Dest and Theo Hernandez as full backs, Pierre Kalulu and FikayoTomori as centre backs. In the middle of the park, Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer will feature from the off. Up front, behind the lone striker Olivier Giroud, Brahim Diaz is expected to get the nod over Charles De Ketelaere. The likes of Rade Krunic and Rafael Leao should complete the trio of attacking midfielders, with Ante Rebic and Divock Origi further alternatives.
CHELSEA (3-4-2-1): Mendy; Koulibaly, Thiago Silva, Cucurella; James, Kovacic, Jorginho, Chilwell; Mount, Sterling; Aubameyang.
Graham Potter should opt for a three-man defense. With Wesley Fofana out injured, Marc Cucurella will be the third centre back Alongside Kalidou Koulibaly and Thiago Silva. Alternatively, the youngster Trevoh Chalobah is a viable option. Ben Chilwell and Reece James will start as wing-backs, with Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho in the middle of the park since N'Golo Kantè is still sidelined. Up front, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang will spearhead the attack while Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount are favorites over Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic for the offensive midfield berths. The former Ajax Hakim Ziyech is not 100% and wil be benched at maximum.
Our AC Milan v Chelsea Predictions
There was little competition 7 days ago. Chelsea dominated the game, exploiting all the defensive weaknesses of their opponents. Can the San Siro factor give the Rossoneri a decisive boost?
In our opinion, the Blues still have the edge despite playing away, and despite the Rossoneri's desire for revenge and a strong increase in self-confidence after an impressive win against Juventus.
As a result, we back Chelsea to win, probably with a narrowest margin. As to the scoreline, 0-1 is the correct score we pick, while among the possibile goalscorers, we fancy Kalidou Koulibaly: the Senegalese is very dangerous on set pieces, a specialty in which Milan does not excel.
