How To Watch Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz in the UK?

Jake Paul and Nate Diaz will fight on Saturday, August 5 at American Airlines Arena in Dallas in a pay-per-view event to be shown globally on DAZN.

You can live stream the action from the DAZN app, which is available for download onto your mobile or tablet device.

Ring-walks for the main event will get going from around 11pm ET/8pm PST.

Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz Betting Preview

Jake Paul steps into the ring with a record of 6 wins (including 4 KOs), 1 loss and 0 draws. He last fought in Saudi Arabia, losing to Tommy Fury by split decision despite scoring a late knockdown. That was the first defeat for the Problem Child. The 26-year-old has six professional boxing victories, predominantly against former UFC fighters. He beat Tyron Woodley (twice), Anderson Silva and Ben Askren, in addition to Nate Robinson (a former NBA player) and the Youtuber Aneson Gib. Boxing and mixed martial arts are two different disciplines, and the Problem Child has shown himself to be a skilled boxer for somebody who remains a bit of a novice.

Nate Diaz is a former UFC fighter, most known for his two fights with Conor McGregor and for memorable battles against Jorge Masvidal, Anthony Pettis, Leon Edwards and Tony Ferguson in recent years. The 38-year old has eperienced a patchy professional record across his MMA career having recorded 21 victories and 13 defeats. He inflicted Conor McGregor his first loss at the peak of his powers, but lost the rematch in 2016. Since then he has gone 2-2 inside the Octagon. In his last fight he submissed Tony Ferguson (who replaced Khamzat Chimaev on a short notice) in the fourth round at UFC 279.

It will be a professional boxing debut for Nate Diaz, and honestly he was not renowned for his boxing skills. He does have plenty of combat experience but, as we have witnessed in previous fights inolving a former MMA fighter, adapting the mixed martial arts style to boxing is very complicated.

Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz Odds: Who is the favorite?

Nate Diaz is understandably the underdog as he doesn't have the boxing pedigree of The Problem Child. The top oline bookmakers in the UK don’t seem to think Diaz has a strong chance, as evidenced by the odds.

Jake Paul is backable at 1/3 with Coral for a victory while Nate Diaz is a 3/1 shot at Betfair for a win. The draw is available at 16/1 with Betfred.

Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz: Our Predictions

Nate Diaz has been training to box for years but his style is questionable to say the least, and his defense absolutely non-existent.

As a result, the outcome of this boxing fight might be the same of the bout against Ben Askren, another MMA who was not known for his striking skills.

Jake Paul has the edge in boxing experience, stamina if the boxing match goes to later rounds, size and power. As a consequence, we back an early stoppage win for the "Problem Child" despite the Stockton native has proven to be a hard guy to knock out over his illustrious career.
