Liverpool v Wolves Betting Preview

Liverpool have lost just one of their last 24 home games against Wolves

Liverpool pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in European football history last tuesday, beating Barcelona 4-0 at Anfeld and overcoming a three goal deficit from the first leg. The Reds now turn their attention to the slim possibility of clinching the Premier League title as they head into the final match day one point adrift of leaders Manchester City, who face Brighton on the road. They have dropped just four points at Anfield this season with draws against Manchester City and Leicester. Last week, Jurgen Klopp's men required a late winner to seal the three points and take this epic title race to the final day of the season.

Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino should be available after missing the historic "remuntada" few days ago while Andy Robertson will face a late fitness test after coming off injured. Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge are in contention to start up front, as Firmino is expected to be rested. Jordan Henderson also sustained a knee issues against Barcelona but should be fit to take his place in the squad this weekend.  Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is another option in the engine room. At the back, Dejan Lovren has started the last two league games at centre-half and will tussle with Joel Matip for a place alongside Virgil van Dijk. Adam Lallana remains a major doubt while Naby Keita is sidelined.

Wolves have won their last 3 matches in Premier League against Arsenal, Watford and Fulham

Wolves have won the race to finish seventh in the Premier League, therefore taking the honour as the best of the rest. They moved a step closer to a potential Europa League qualification with victory over Fulham last week. Nuno Espirito Santo's men boast an impressive record against the Big Six teams. They have beaten Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, and Manchester United in the league this season, picking up a total of 16 points from their 11 meetings with them. As to direct encounters, Wolves suffered a a 0-2 home defeat at the hands of Liverpool in the Premier League in December, but they gained revenge by seeing off the Reds in the FA Cup third round few weeks later.

The visitors have no missing players for their last game of the season.Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota should continue to lead the line, while Jonny and Matt Doherty will retain their berth as wing backs. Leander Dendoncker should join Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves in the middle of the park while Ryan Bennet, Conor Coady and Willy Boly will form the three man backline.  The likes of Ruben Vinagre, Helder Costa, Adama Traore, Romain Saiss, Ivan Cavaleiro and Morgan Gibbs-White are the back-up options available to the Wolves manager should decide to rotate his team.
