League Two Outright Winner 2019/20 Odds

It’ll be an interesting season to see how the new boys in the league react. Both Salford and Leyton Orient, who arrive from the National League, have pedigree, while Bradford City will be desperate to spend as little time at the lower echelons of the Football League and bounce straight back into League One.

Both Salford and Bradford are where most of the money is going currently, with William Hill pricing them both at 7/1 to win the league.

Plymouth are also good value to bounce straight back at 10/1, while Forest Green at 16/1 might tempt a few people into a free bet given their position last season.

The full list of outright odds on League Two with William Hill are:

  • Salford City: 7/1
  • Bradford City: 7/1
  • Plymouth Argyle: 10/1
  • Mansfield Town: 10/1
  • Scunthorpe United: 11/1
  • Northampton Town: 14/1
  • Leyton Orient: 16/1
  • Walsall: 16/1
  • Forest Green: 16/1

League Two Promotion 2019/20 Odds

Unlike the Championship and League One, four teams have the opportunity for promotion, with three automatic spots and a playoff to confirm the final club.

bet365 are currently offering good odds on League Two promotion odds, with Salford and Bradford once again leading the way.

The Ammies join the West Yorkshire club on odds of 13/8, with Plymouth following at 2/1.

Tranmere earned back-to-back promotions from the division last year, which could tempt a few people into Leyton Orient at 7/2 after the finished Champions of the National League last season.

Bet365 are currently offering the following odds on League Two promotion.

  • Salford City: 13/8
  • Bradford City: 13/8
  • Plymouth Argyle: 2/1
  • Scunthorpe United: 9/4
  • Mansfield Town: 9/4
  • Northampton Town: 10/3
  • Walsall: 7/2
  • Leyton Orient: 7/2

League Two Top 7 Finish Odds

Finishing in seventh still gives clubs a chance of promotion come the end of the season and this market is always fun to bet on due to the long runs of form found at the end of the season.

There’s always room for a surprise so it’s a market worth monitoring as the season goes on.

At the moment we’d potentially look at Newport at 10/3. They were cruelly beaten in the Playoff Final last season and will be desperate to go one further this season.

Coral are of course backing the familiar faces, but we’d advise looking more towards the likes of Carlisle, Exeter and Swindon for your value.

  • Bradford City: 8/11
  • Salford City: 4/5
  • Mansfield Town: 4/5
  • Plymouth Argyle: 10/11
  • Scunthorpe United: 1/1
  • Northampton Town: 6/5
  • Forest Green Rovers: 6/4
  • Leyton Orient: 6/4
  • Walsall: 7/4
  • Colchester United: 2/1
  • Swindon Town: 2/1
  • Exeter City: 9/4
  • Carlisle United: 5/2
  • Crewe Alexandra: 11/4
  • Newport County: 10/3

League Two Relegation 2019/20 Odds

Just two teams face the drop in League Two which only intensifies the battle as teams lock horns and fight for survival.

Sol Campbell worked wonders last season to keep Macclesfield’s dreams alive, although they once again go into the season among the favourites for relegation.

Their hopes aren’t helped by the fact Leyton Orient and Salford are tipped to do well this season. That means the likes of Morecambe, Crawley and Grimsby could well be in trouble.

William Hill certainly think so. It only takes a good or bad run of form to completely change the complexion of the relegation zone. It’s a market well worth keeping an eye on, particularly if you can start to see a side struggling.

The current League Two relegation odds are looking as follows:

Morecambe: 7/2

Macclesfield Town: 7/2

Crawley Town: 9/2

Grimsby Town: 9/2

Cheltenham Town: 7/1

Cambridge United: 7/1

Stevenage: 7/1

Port Vale: 8/1

Oldham Athletic: 8/1
