JUVENTUS vs AC MILAN BETTING PREVIEW
Juventus enter this match on the back of two hard fought victories, following their 0-1 home defeat to Napoli three weks ago. The Bianconeri have now six points clear at the top of the Serie A standings with 2 game left to play. Plus, they have a +16 goal difference over their Scudetto rivals. As a result, the Old Lady have all but clinched their 7th consecutive Serie A title. Massimiliano Allegri's men haven't been at their best in recent games but they have already beaten AC Milan twice this season: 2-0 a S.Siro back in October, 3-1 at the Allianz Stadium on late March.
Allegri is expected to play with a 4-3-2-1 starting system in which Gonzalo Higuain will continue to play as lone striker. Dougals Costa looks a sure starters while Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic are in contention for the remaining berth as offensive midfielder. The likes of Blaise Matuidi, Sami Khedira and Miralem Pjanic are likely to start in the middle of the park. Giorgio Chiellini is the only player on the sidelines and will be replaced by Mehdi Benatia. The Moroccan defender should form the four man backline alongside Juan Cuadrado, Andrea Barzagli and Alex Sandro.
AC Milan embarked on a 11-match unbeaten run in all competitions under new manager Gennaro Gattuso between December and February, but they suffered a huge dip in form since then. The Rossoneri were knocked out by Arsenal in Europa League and won only two of 10 matches and also suffered a shocking 0-1 home defeat at the hands of rock bottom Benevento in Serie A. They have rediscovered form in recent weeks, having beaten Bologna (1-2) and Verona (4-1) in the league. The Rossoneri, as well as Juventus, are yet to concede a single goal in four Coppa Italia matches this year. Anyway, they have lost the last 4 direct encounters against Juventus in all competitions.
Gennaro Gattuso should confirm 10/11 of the starting line-up who played against Verona last time out. The only change could be in defense where Ignazio Abate should be replaced by Davide Calabria. In midfield, since Lucas Biglia is still sidelined, Manuel Locatelli should feature from the off, flanked by Giacomo Bonaventura and Frank Kessiè. Up front, Patrick Cutrone should get the nod over Andrè Silva and Nikola Kalinic as number 9, while Suso and Hakan Calhanoglu are likely to start out wide.
